Last week, Sarah Jessica Parker revealed that Aidan Shaw would factor into Carrie Bradshaw’s life in season 3 of And Just Like That…, the reboot of Sex and the City. Last season, fans didn’t see Aidan until halfway through the season. They won’t need to wait as long this time, it seems. Just days after Parker’s revelation, Corbett was spotted on set. Aidan is back; we just aren’t exactly sure in what capacity yet.

The cast of And Just Like That… took a big break from filming. The cast finished filming for season 2 in April 2023. Now, they are ready to head back to the set for season 3. While the cast is getting ready to hit the streets of New York, they are staying very quiet about what Sex and the City fans can expect from season 3 of the reboot. An Instagram story might hint that Carrie Bradshaw’s new apartment, featured in season 2, will be part of the story.

Carrie Bradshaw’s famous Sex and the City tutu officially has a new home. The tutu, purchased by Patricia Field from a bargain bin for $5 before the show’s premiere episode, hit the auction block last month. The auction has officially ended. While the tutu was expected to fetch between $8,000 and $12,000, demand for the iconic fashion item was much higher than anticipated. The final winning bid was for over $50,000.

As it turns out, Carrie Bradshaw was right: fashion can be an investment. The iconic tutu that the character wore in the opening of Sex and the City 25 years ago will hit the auction block. It is expected to go for many times what show stylist Patricia Field paid for the iconic piece back in the 1990s.

Sex and the City fans hoping to own an iconic piece of Sex and the City history officially have a chance. The infamous tutu Carrie wore during the show’s opening sequence is on the auction block. Auction house Julien’s Auctions listed the item earlier this month.

There are a few standout new releases on Netflix in October, but it’s a rather quiet month on the world’s most popular streaming service otherwise!
Highlights this month include a brand-new series from Spook Master Mike Flanagan. The Fall of the House of Usher is a gothic tale loosely based on the short story of the same name by Edgar Allan Poe, and tells the story of two extremely unpleasant siblings whose family dynasty ends up going to hell in a handbasket. Before you ask: yes, Rahul Kohli is in it. That’s all that a lot of people need to know here (we’re people).
Elsewhere, Netflix is dropping a few interesting-looking docuseries, including one on football legend David Beckham. It promises to be an “intimate portrait” of Beckham, and the filmmakers were apparently granted unprecedented access to the sportsman and his family while making it.

When Sex and the City began in 1998, it focused on the life of sex columnist Carrie Bradshaw and her pals. Across six seasons, fans watched the women work, play, and love in New York City. They also watched them evolve. Carrie Bradshaw’s career started with a sex column and ended with her as the author of several books. Do you remember how many books Carrie penned?
‘Sex and the City’ was the first book Carrie Bradshaw authored
In season 5 of Sex and the City, Carrie goes from columnist to author when a publishing house turns her sex columns into a book. Seasons 5 and 6 touched on the publishing process from time to time.

For Sex and the City fans, it feels like Carrie Bradshaw has always been in Manhattan. Despite her knowledge of the city, the fictional sex columnist was not a born and raised New Yorker. While the original series didn’t delve too deeply into Carrie’s upbringing, and what she has said about her early life greatly deviates from The Carrie Diaries, we have a pretty good sense of exactly when she started her love affair with Manhattan. Carrie Bradshaw moved to Manhattan as a 20-something and never left.
When did Carrie Bradshaw move to Manhattan?
Carrie Bradshaw carved out a niche in Manhattan as a sex columnist after arriving in 1986. When Sex and the City began in 1998, Carrie was 32 years old, which means she was born in 1966. If she came to Manhattan in June 1986, she was headed into her 20s as she forged a new, independent life. According to Summer in the City,...

Carrie Bradshaw has worn many inspired, stunning, and, sometimes, downright strange looks over the years. The fictional sex columnist never shied away from style risks, and that’s one of the things Sex and the City fans love about her. She took the same chances in Sex and the City: The Movie, especially regarding her wedding look. While the wedding never happened, her bridal styling remains a topic of discussion for fans. Now, the bird headpiece Carrie Bradshaw wore to her ill-fated wedding at the New York Public Library is on the auction block.

Manhattan served as something of a fifth main character in Sex and the City. The city provided the perfect backdrop for Carrie Bradshaw and her pals to shop, eat, and find eligible bachelors. For most of the show’s six-season run, the girls rarely ventured off the island. Still, it did happen occasionally. We’ve collected all the times the ladies of Sex and the City found themselves as fish out of water while away from Manhattan.

Carrie Bradshaw’s iconic brownstone unit was the envy of every Sex and the City fan in the 1990s. It became so iconic that the unit was basically an additional cast member. In the most recent episode of And Just Like That…, Carrie said goodbye to her East 73rd Street pad, presumably for good this time, and we’d be lying if we said it didn’t make us a little bit sad. Let’s look at all the apartments Carrie’s lived in. Despite her studio’s importance to the overall show, she’s lived in several spots.
Carrie’s Brownstone apartment is iconic
Carrie briefly lived in an apartment above a store in the pilot of Sex and the City, but by episode two, she was living in her iconic brownstone apartment. Because the pilot apartment is never mentioned, we don’t count it as an official home for Carrie Bradshaw.

And Just Like That… may have gained three new characters, but they also lost three important ones, all for different reasons. Chris Noth’s Mr. Big was killed off in the first episode, while Kim Cattrall was not asked to reprise her role as Samantha Jones (she’ll appear briefly in season 2). Stanford Blatch, played by the late Willie Garson, appeared in the first few episodes of the series before Garson became too ill to film. And Just Like That… opted to keep Stanford alive, despite Garson’s death. Now, the series pays homage to the beloved actor and character in season 2.

Carrie Bradshaw was a fashionista long before Sex and the City fans met her in 1998. The character was 32 during season 1 of the series and liked to play with mixing designer pieces and vintage finds. She played with bold colors and prints in her clothes, shoes, and handbags. As she aged throughout the series, her style changed, too. Now, 25 years later, Carrie is back in the Max reboot, And Just Like That… While she’s still fashion-forward in her 50s, her style has changed again. One thing, however, has stayed the same. Carrie Bradshaw’s nails are still naked. Sarah Jessica Parker recently revealed why Carrie Bradshaw didn’t get manicures.

In a surprising turn of events, Kim Cattrall will return to the Sex and the City universe for a cameo. The actor, famous for portraying Samantha Jones in the original series, long insisted she was done with the character. She’s spoken incredibly negatively about her time on the set and her co-star, Sarah Jessica Parker. Cattrall wasn’t even invited to take part in the Max reboot initially. Now Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO of HBO and HBO Max Content, has gotten involved and somehow convinced Cattrall to return for a single scene. Some fans believe Cattral is doing it for the fan base; the actor’s critics think she agreed to appear out of spite. Despite why she’s returning, there will surely be feelings about it. But where did the drama all begin? Sarah Jessica Parker shared what she thinks caused the one-sided fight.

Sex and the City fans were given a chance to catch back up with Carrie Bradshaw in And Just Like That… The series is heading into its second season. While the reboot shows Carrie’s life as a 53-year-old widow, we want to go back to the beginning and remember where it all began. We’ve spent two decades following her story. That means Carrie Bradshaw’s age at the start of the series was 32.

John Corbett is set to return as Aidan Shaw in And Just Like That… and based on set photos, love will bloom once again between Aidan and Carrie Bradshaw. Despite the two characters reviving their romance, not everyone is on team Aidan. Sarita Choudhury, the actor who portrays Seema Patel in the Max reboot of Sex and the City, recently revealed that she is on team neither when it comes to Carrie Bradshaw’s big loves.
Carrie Bradshaw had two big loves in ‘Sex and the City’
Sex and the City had no shortage of great sex in it. The show was stingier when it came to great love. In one episode of the famed series, Charlotte York revealed that she read that each person gets two great loves in their life. Carrie Bradshaw lamented that she already had and lost her two, so she was stuck, all out of love.

Sex and the City could be described in a lot of different ways. It was provocative, it was sultry, and it was funny. Very few people would describe the show about a sex columnist as “wholesome,” though. Even though it’s certainly not the first word that comes to mind when we think of the series, Sex and the City did have some seriously wholesome moments. We’ve collected our three favorites.
Magda was stern, but she offered a seriously wholesome ‘Sex and the City’ moment
Miranda Hobbes’ housekeeper turned nanny was a motherly figure in many ways. While stern, Magda also seemed to understand Miranda and cared deeply for Brady Hobbes. In the season 6 finale, “Part Deux,” she offered up one of the most wholesome Sex and the City moments of the entire series.

Mr. Big is dead. Carrie Bradshaw mourned the death of her husband in season 1 of And Just Like That…, the HBO Max reboot of Sex and the City. As the premiere of season 2 gets closer, fans have learned Carrie will reconnect with her other big love, Aidan Shaw. Feelings about the former flames revisiting their romance are mixed among fans. Some fans think Aidan was always the one, while others argue he’s just a comfortable replacement for Carrie’s true love, John James Preston. Was Mr. Big really “the one” for Carrie, though? We could argue that, despite their marital status, he was never actually the one.

Mr. Big wasn’t exactly the best when it came to maintaining a healthy romantic relationship. While Carrie Bradshaw insisted they were happier than they had ever been shortly before Mr. Big’s tragic death in the series opener of And Just Like That…, it took them a long time to get there. Mr. Big and Carrie got together and broke up several times, and he was married before her. But how many marriages did the mysterious financier actually have? We have the answer.

Early spooky season began in September, but for those late to the party by starting their celebrations in October, Netflix has a great slate of scary and festive films and TV shows on tap. “Scooby Doo” and “Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed” will be readily available the first day of the month. Friday, October 7 is a big day for releases, as it will welcome the third season of “Derry Girls,” “Luckies Girl Alive” adapted from Jessica Knolle’s best-selling novel and a new YA spin on ghost stories, “The Midnight Club.”
More book adaptations to keep your eye on for October’s Netflix arrivals include “The School for Good and Evil,” out Oct. 19 and based on the best-selling series by Soman Chainani. A heartrending and heartwarming dose of real life as well as true love can be found in the “From Scratch” series, based on the memoir of the same name by Tembi Locke,...

Turtlenecks, ties and teal, oh my! When it comes to fashion icons on Sex and the City, our minds may go straight to our Dior Saddle Bag-loving Carrie Bradshaw, but she isn't the only one in the series making a statement with her clothing—and that's where Miranda Hobbes comes in. Miranda, played by the ever-so-fabulous Cynthia Nixon, has had countless memorable outfits on the original six season series, as well as Sex and the City: The Movie and Sex and the City 2. From turtlenecks to plunging necklines, Miranda's style certainly shifted throughout the years. She started off the series with a more conservative, lawyerly look, and then began to add so more color and femininity to her...

Carrie Bradshaw may easily be one of the most fabulously dressed characters in television history. Over the course of Sex and the City's original six-season run, Carrie, played by the incredible Sarah Jessica Parker, wore everything from chic Manolo Blahnik heels to off-the-runway couture dresses. Carrie's fierce fashion didn't stop, as the blond writer rocked several jaw-dropping looks in the show's follow-ups films, Sex and the City: The Movie and Sex and the City 2. (Shout-out to her Vivienne Westwood wedding dress in the first film). And it seems that this fashion legacy will Carrie—sorry, we just had to—into the Satc revival series, And Just Like That..., which premieres Dec....

Andrea Martin (Great News), Robert Ri’chard (Empire), Juani Feliz (Blue Bloods), Kate Rockwell (Mean Girls: The Musical) and Sullivan Jones (The Surrogate) are set for recurring roles on Amazon’s Harlem, the comedy series from Tracy Oliver (Girls Trip), Amy Poehler’s Paper Kite Productions and Universal TV. They’ll join previously announced Whoopi Goldberg and Jasmine Guy, who also recur.
Created, written and executive produced by Oliver, Harlem, formerly the Untitled Tracy Oliver Project, is a single-camera comedy following the lives of four black women, friends from their college days at NYU, as they navigate sex, relationships and chasing their dreams.
Martin will play Robin, Camille’s passionate feminist mentor at Columbia University. Ri’chard portrays Shawn, Quinn’s sexy, stripper one-night stand who sticks around much longer than she planned. Feliz is Isabela, a local politician on track to beating AOCs record as the youngest member of Congress...

Samantha Jones may have been the one to tell off The Girls over one especially heated lunch in the episode “Frenemies”: “And you can forget Samba!” But the creators of “Sex and the City” are now the ones telling us, “You can forget Samantha Jones!”
Rookie streaming service HBO Max has announced a limited series revival of creator Darren Star’s “Sex and the City,” titled “And Just Like That,” named for one of Carrie’s classic quips whenever the proverbial other shoe (sorry) dropped. But just like that, it’s a predictably amputated version, because Kim Cattrall won’t be returning to the series as Samantha Jones. It’s now up to the writers to find a creative way to write her out of the series

Another year, and another daunting challenge to keep up with the number of streaming options available from the big online players. And to mark January 1st, there’s some new content to enjoy on the likes of Netflix, Disney Plus and HBO Max, among others, as well as several notable changes in licensing agreements that may affect how you can watch your favorite shows.
On Netflix, the biggest fresh release is the third season of Cobra Kai, which has been a hit for the service since making the move from YouTube. Critics are already dishing out praise for the latest block of episodes of The Karate Kid spinoff, which had its premiere date bumped up by a week. Other highlights, meanwhile, include Netflix documentary The Minimalists: Less Is Now, and a lot of licensed movies ranging from Bonnie and Clyde to Goodfellas.

So long, 2020, 2021 is here! Now that we’ve entered the New Year, the various major streaming services are starting January with a bang as they all have hefty hauls arriving this weekend. The first day of the month always sees a load of newly licensed titles go up across the platforms and that’s especially the case in January, as Netflix, Disney Plus, HBO Max, Hulu and Prime Video have tons of great new movies and TV shows debuting this weekend.
For starters, there’s something for all tastes becoming available on Netflix on January 1st. We’ve got Steven Spielberg’s Catch Me If You Can, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, animated comedy Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, both Sex in the City movies, Superbad, Bruce Lee classic Enter the Dragon, horror flick Gothika and not one but two films directed by Martin Scorsese, Goodfellas and The Departed, featuring DiCaprio again.

It’s finally time to start shedding off the terrible year of 2020 and begin thinking positively about 2021, and Netflix is making that fairly easy by starting the new year off the right way. With its first content drop of the month, the world’s most popular streaming service is proving how it got that title with a massive selection of movies and shows that are certain to tickle the fancy of subscribers looking for new stuff to watch.
If you’re a fan of Robert Downey Jr., today is a really great day for you, as the prolific actor has had two additions added to Netflix in a single drop. His 2009 take on the world’s most popular detective can be seen in the simply-titled Sherlock Holmes, and you can also catch him as a doctor in the 2003 supernatural thriller Gothika.

The first month of a new year is a good time to make a new impression. And that’s just what Netflix seems set on doing with its list of new releases for January 2021.
The streamer is coming out strong with a third season of Cobra Kai, formerly of YouTube Premium. The next installment in Daniel Larusso and Johnny Lawrence’s story is set to arrive…eventually. Netflix has not unveiled a released date yet but it will be during this month. While Cobra Kai is the highlight among Netflix’ original series, it’s not the only one by a long shot. Last year’s fun Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous returns for a second season on Jan. 22 and it will be accompanied by Fate: The Winx Saga. Also, if you’re a fan of things that will one day be .gif’ed to death, the Nicolas Cage-hosted History of Swear Words drops on Jan.

January is usually referred to as the theatrical industry’s dumping ground, where projects destined to fail are shoved out into the world to die a slow and painful death at the box office. Obviously, next month could see almost every new release face a similar fate as business is still showing no signs of recovery, but Netflix are looking to buck the trend and rehabilitate January’s reputation as a safe haven for fresh content, and the streaming service have some major original movies and TV shows on the horizon.
The most exciting without a doubt is History of Swear Words, which sees Nicolas Cage hosting a six-episode series that delves into the origins and multiple uses of profanity. We’re still a couple of weeks out from The Boys returning with its second season, but based on the footage we’ve seen so far, it certainly looks as if we’re in for another wild ride. One that may even top the first run of the show, which was one of the best things that we’d seen on television in a long time.
Of course, trying to predict how something as crazy as The Boys is going to end up is a fool’s errand, but let’s not forget that it won’t be the only new thing arriving on Amazon Prime in September. Far from it, in fact.

An election season is fast-approaching in the U.S. So for its new releases in September 2020, Amazon Prime is bringing back one of its most political shows.
The Boys season 2 premieres its first three episodes on September 4. Though the show on its face is a superhero story, viewers of season 1 will know it’s really about America’s troubling embrace of entertainment with fascism. Sounds fun and not at all terrifying right before a presidential election!
That’s not the only bleak Amazon original on the schedule for September. British TV adaptation Utopia arrives on September 25. This Gillian Flynn-produced series follows fans of a comic book who believe it predicts…world-ending pandemics. Darn it. Sarah Jessica Parker isn't—and never was—in a "catfight" with Kim Cattrall. Or so she says. After Cattrall made it clear she has zero interest in reprising her role as Samantha Jones in a third Sex and the City movie, multiple reports surfaced detailing decades of alleged hostility between the two actresses. Parker, who was careful not to badmouth her former co-star while promoting Season 2 of HBO's Divorce earlier this year, now says the tabloid stories were blown out of proportion. "I'd just like to remind everybody that there is no catfight," she tells Vulture. "I have never uttered an unkind, unsupportive, unfriendly word, so I would love to redefine it." (In...

According to a new report from the folks at Soapcentral, we're about to see a new doctor character show up on the "Bold And The Beautiful" scene in late July 2017. He's going to be played by French-American actor Gilles Marini (above). His guest appearance is being described as a very pivotal arc. Also, they say his Summer storylines are supposed be very juicy. Getting back to his character description. They're told that he will be a doctor who has to unexpectedly treat a character in Monaco. He's expected to show up onscreen in two episodes that will start on Friday, July 28th,2017. So, be sure to look out for him on that date. Gilles Marini's acting resume includes roles in HBO's hit drama "Sex and The City" and Lifetime's "Devious Maids," "Brothers and Sisters," "Ugly Betty," "Dirty Sexy Money," "Two Broke Girls," and Switched at Birth. He also competed in seasons 8 and 15 of ABC's hit dancing show, "Dancing With the Stars." He was also previously cast on "The Bold And The Beautiful" as different characters for a couple of one-episode stints in 2005 and 2007. He played an Italian bicycle rider on the now defunct "Passions" soap opera way back in 2006. In addition to the whole treating a patient storyline, they also mentioned that Gilles arc will include some characters traveling to Monte Carlo for the annual Spencer Summit. There's also going to be a swimwear fashion show challenge that's going to pit the Spectra and Forrester fashion houses against each other. So, that certainly sounds like that could give us some pretty intense storylines to look forward to. Unfortunately, they didn't mention which other characters we'll see in Monte Carlo. But hopefully, some more info will pop up before that date. Be sure to follow us for more "Bold And The Beautiful" news coverage on our "Bold And The Beautiful" Facebook page by Clicking Here.
