Old ladies and their cattle...
No, no, no folks that's definitely not a story for males, or only those in search for a funny moment to spend. And I was amused with this enjoyable tale about old women in war with the government taxation measures. One more time, I am pretty sure that, with TELEPHONE TIME, this story was made from elements that really occurred. Funny, yes, and perfect for Arthur Hiller, the future director of WC FIELDS AND ME and so many more comedies. It is really hard to believe this astounding scene of the old ladies having their cows be taken away from them by the authorities in payment of what they owe as taxes. Amusing but maybe not so funny for the concerned persons. The twenty four minutes ran rapidly, no length at all, and I am very pleased to have watched it. And I am absolutely sure that true events are always more unbelievable than the most unbelievable fiction features.
Don't miss it anyway.
