It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Season 1-11 – To me, Netflix’s best feature was never its vast movie catalog. Nor is it its growing library of original programming. Even its mailing service paled to its crowning achievement as a content streamer. Netflix has what is perhaps the best collection of TV series commercially available to stream. And while it’s natural and expected for program licensing to expire and content to be gradually replaced over time, it’s always disheartening to see entire series – especially critically acclaimed, long-lived ones – rotate out to make room for something inherently less impressive. But

Goosebumps – There is no question that Netflix has a horror problem. Despite a seemingly fine collection of genre films to choose from, the streaming service has been steadily losing its more frightening fare for months now. In their lead-up to Halloween, where most services stockpile as many spine-tinglers as possible, Netflix instead shed them at a rather alarming rate. Of the few choice entries they have left, they’ve losing another one. Goosebumps, inspired by the iconic works of R.L. Stein and an exceedingly rare family-friendly horror movie, will be leaving Netflix in a matter of days. I guess if

Prince Philip — rocking a top hat — also attended the event at his wife’s side.
The pair shook hands with fascinator-wearing guests, including the Queen’s relatives the Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra.

Since January has given us an extra week, we decided to do a special Kickstarter episode! Sometimes there are amazing comic book creators who’s fantastic ideas could use a bit of help from fans in order to get us a finished book. We are featuring two great writers who are starting Kickstarter campaigns to promote their titles. From the LRMOnline family we have Kat Kalamia and Omar Morales writer for “Cruzader: Agent of the Vatican” and Guinness World Record holder for the largest comic book published. Kat is promoting her title “Life Father, Like Daughter” and Omar talks about the “Not Forgotten” anthology he is working on. We then venture into our Top 5 independent comics and finish off with the books for the week!

Denzel Washington’s adaptation of August Wilson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play “Fences” follows an African-American father (Washington) who struggles with his regrets, his race and the difficulties of raising a family in a working class environment. Since its release, the film has garnered positive reviews, has already been nominated for two Golden Globes and is now considered a major Oscar contender. The film’s profile has become so large that Internet personality King Bach has targeted the film for parody. Watch his “Fences” parody viral video below.

Online Essentials is a weekly column where we introduce you to an influential digital content creator in their own words.
Vine may be shutting down, but one of its biggest stars is just getting started. The All-American babyfaced bro Logan Paul made a name for himself on the soon-to-be defunct platform with physical comedy routines condensed into three beats for six-second videos that tell their own mini-stories. Following in the longstanding tradition of Buster Keaton, his pratfalls and dumb jock persona have much more in common with Jim Carrey and the “Jackass” guys.

It’s safe to say that filmmaker Michael Moore has made his choice this election year very, very plain. After all, the “Bowling for Columbine” and “Fahrenheit 9/11” director somehow found the time to create, film and release a spectacularly anti-Donald Trump film (that would be “Michael Moore in TrumpLand”) in the space of mere weeks, and he’s spent the last few weeks quite loudly stumping for Hillary Clinton for president.
The always-outspoken Moore has also spent plenty of time talking up politics — specifically focused on the presidential race — on a variety of other mediums outside of his own filmmaking, from his blog and social media platforms to The Huffington Post, amongst other outlets. Moore, as ever, has something to say, but over the weekend, the filmmaker was taken to major task for a series of Twitter comments that came from a seemingly supportive, yet woefully uniformed place. And he paid for it.

Chicago – Brutal. That’s the word for the third season of “The Walking Dead.” It’s just brutal. Like the second season of the mega-hit show, the third sagged a bit in the middle (although not as deeply as the neverending Shane-Dale debates of chapter 2) and the finale was a bit disappointing, but the unpredictability of the season kept viewers on their toes and ratings high. With the producer’s willingness to sacrifice any character (and several major ones die this year), it became a show that you couldn’t DVR. You had to watch it live or risk having it ruined by Twitter. If you somehow stayed unspoiled, you can now catch up with a robust five-disc set for the incredibly popular show.

While issue 7 of Marvel's Thor God of Thunder continues author Jason Aaron's current saga, it also serves as the beginning of his story's second arc and a perfect jumping-on point for those unworthy mortals who have yet to experience its greatness.
Following a standalone story introducing readers to a younger Gorr the God Butcher - the title's antagonist who does just what his name suggests - with the standard sympathetic origins of good man turned super-evil villain, No 7 takes us to a far-flung future where a modern-day Thor meets a much older God of Thunder.
Though time travel does occur, Aaron's story actually follows the golden-maned deity during three different eras that all include an interaction with Gorr.
Each era shows an advancing stage in Thor's investigation into the disappearance of his heavenly peers, with readers treated to masterfully portrayed perspectives of a young, present-day and eventually aged King Thor...

When we talk about one of the biggest Latina actresses on the Latin American silver screen, the name Paz Vega is always part of the equation. With more than 15 years in and out of the United States, the Spanish actress has walked steadily towards fame and success, soon to become an important figure within the U.S. film industry.
Born Paz Campos Trigo, she was raised in Spain. Mother of three, and married to Venezuelan Orson Salazar, she took her first steps in acting in 1996 on popular Spanish films. She became better known for her roles in “Sólo mía” and “Lucía y el sexo”, for which she won a Goya award.
Later on, Vega also participated on “Hable con ella,” directed by the legendary Pedro Almodovar, catching the attention of Hollywood executives. In 2004 she crossed over to the American film industry, joining the cast of “Spanglish” along with comedian Adam Sandler.

Carrie is coming back. Let the terror continue. The story and the film are among Stephen King’s most well-known and now a re-make is in the works. This much is true, the right lady for the job has been cast to aquatint an all new generation with the frightening tale. Moretz is believable in just about any role she takes. She’s a bright young actress who I find to be under appreciated.
Deadline announced Chloe Moretz of Martin Scorsese’s Hugo is about to horrify audiences all over again.
MGM, Screen Gems and director Kim Peirce are in negotiations with Moertz as we speak.
Darkness must be Chloe’s middle name.
Nevermind that the young actress was the center of controversy when her Kick Ass alter ego, Hit Girl, was tossed around by full grown man, acted by Mark Strong. She was also nominated for a Young Artist...

Adele has once again dominated the UK album chart, as her latest release 21 and debut LP 19 finish in first and second place on this week's rankings. The London-born singer - who last Sunday became the first living act since The Beatles to appear twice in both the singles and album charts top five - notched up a fifth week in pole position with her sophomore record, while 19 climbs two places to the runner up spot in its 102nd week of release. Adele becomes the first act to hold the top two places in the album chart since The Corrs in March 1999, when Talk On Corners and Forgiven, Not Forgotten landed at one and two. Just behind Adele is the fourth compilation album from the Glee cast, which is the week's highest new entry at four, while Cee Lo Green, whose song 'Forget You' featured prominently (more)...

The Strokes feared they would be "forgotten" during their hiatus. The band are preparing for the release of "Angles", their first album since 2006's "First Impressions of Earth" and the group admit they worried they would have to start their career from the bottom again on the new campaign.
"There was a fear on my part that, having taken such a long time off, people would have forgotten about us," guitarist Nick Valensi said. "Not forgotten, but that all the work we'd done would have been for naught, and we would have to start again at a lower level. But that hasn't been the case at all."
Nick was the only member of the band not to venture into other projects during their hiatus, so he admits he found their break more frustrating than Julian Casablancas, Nikolai Fraiture, Fabrizio Moretti or Albert Hammond Jr., but he appreciates why they needed some time out.

You'd think after a crazy Friday packed with tons of TV goodness, the folks behind the scheduling for San Diego Comic-Con would give us a bit of a breather, but noooo. Saturday's Sdcc programming looks to be just as exciting (and exhausting), as television fans will be treated to yet another solid day of sneak peeks and Q&As of several geek-approved shows.
Once again, we're here to offer up the highlights of what's worth dragging yourself away from the show floor. You can thank us later.
Nickelodeon Presents: The SpongeBob SquarePants Secret Formula Revealed!: 10:00 Am - 11:00 Am, Room 6A: What better way to enjoy a Saturday morning at Comic-Con than trying to sleep off a hangover. However, if you find yourself up and about, why not swing by this panel and try and find out, once and for all, why SpongeBob has stood the test of time.

Fraggle Rock was the very first show on HBO and, in a lot of ways, the ultimate palate cleanser for all the episodic storytelling and creativity yet to come. After all, almost every day in Fraggle Rock included a clean moral, a pitch perfect song, a pure act of friendship, and a nice, pared-down script. But being a Jim Henson product, and his wide vision of a world symbiosis guiding it lightspeed ahead of any other kids show, inasmuch as it was a “kids show,” it's hard to describe Fraggle Rock as simply a first foray into entertainment. In fact, in this last season, it actually feels more like a final word.
At some point or another here, the fun-loving and usually independent Fraggle friends each get their own special interactions with the mysterious Gorgs, Doozers, and Silly Creatures (humans) they share the planet with, and each results in a transcendent amount of warmth,...

Filmmakers always sound fascinating during their commentary tracks or “making of” featurettes. They have lofty ambitions for their movies and its always disappointing when the story they talk about proves more interesting than the finish film itself.
Such is the case with the thriller Not Forgotten, out this week on DVD from our pals at Anchor Bay Entertainment. Written by Tomás Romero and Dror Soref and directed by Soref, its atmospheric and has tremendous potential but remains largely uninvolving and winds up far more predictable than it should be.
Starring Simon Baker, the DVD release is playing up his name now that he is a major star thanks to the success of his CBS series The Mentalist. When the film was released very briefly in January, he was just another actor with Paz Vega and Claire Forlani the better recognized names.

The biggest DVD and Blu-ray release for this week is probably G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. It pains me to know that this week some brave souls will give it another chance, while others will discover its sheer idiocy for the first time. If you're looking for something slightly better but still mediocre, you might try Tony Scott's remake of The Taking of Pelham 123. Other smaller releases for the week include Dolph Lundgren's direct-to-dvd action flick Command Performance, the Spanish post-apocalyptic flick Before The Fall, and the G.I. Joe Resolute animated microseries. Also keep an eye out for a few noteworthy documentaries this week including Food Inc., The English Surgeon, and the John Hughes doc Don't You Forget About Me (in Canada only). Plus: James Bond and Rocky collections on Blu-ray, and the only partially redundant Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut! Will you be picking anything up this week?...

With Halloween right around the corner we've got a ton of very different and very awesome scare flicks streeting this week. For one, we've got Lionsgate's Ghost House Underground Boxed Set which comes at us form Sam Raimi's banner. It includes Mark Lewis' The Thaw (amazon), Brit shocker, The Children (amazon), the Jack Ketchum cult classic, Offspring (amazon) and the new one from Blair Witch co-director Seventh Moon (amazon). You can read more about these titles in our mega-review.
Another film we've all been awaiting is Tom Jane's directorial debut, Dark Country (trailer, amazon). It was filmed to be 3D so it's unfortunate to see that the release is 2D only.
Next up G. Cameron Romero's (yep, that's the son of George Romero) backwoods shocker, Staunton Hill (amazon). And not to be forgotten is Not Forgotten (trailer, amazon), Anchor Bay's release of the black magic mixed...

Despite minor genre trappings sprinkled throughout both, neither Whiteout (opening nationwide September 11) nor Not Forgotten (beginning a New York City engagement on the 11th ahead of a DVD release November 3) is really a horror film. That hasn’t stopped Warner Bros. from trying to sell Whiteout like one, though what they’re pitching as a literal chiller about a malevolent presence terrorizing an South Pole research station turns out to be a mystery/suspense drama without mystery, suspense or drama.
Kate Beckinsale trades in her Underworld leather garb for a parka to play U.S. Marshal Carrie Stetko, who’s about to wrap up a stint on Antarctica (which the film helpfully reminds us is “the coldest, most isolated land mass on the planet”). Within the film’s first eight minutes, she and the filmmakers demonstrate that they’ve remembered her fans via a lengthy shower scene, but she has...
