- The UK release was cut, the distributor was advised that the film was likely to receive a 15 classification but that their preferred 12A classification could be obtained by making changes to three scenes. These were to reduce elements of violence and threat. When an edited version of the film was submitted for formal classification, the scenes had been reduced and the film was consequently classified 12A.
- A Blu-ray has been released with both the Theatrical Version & a Unrated Cut along with an alternate ending and deleted scenes.
- The difference between the theatrical and unrated, extended home video cut, which contains more plot elements, is that the latter is longer by six minutes, for a total runtime of "1h 38m (98 min)".
