We recently learned that Marvel Studios is eyeing Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy to helm Avengers 5. The filmmaker has read Michael Waldron's script for the project and is now in talks to take charge of a movie originally titled The Kang Dynasty.
The Cosmic Circus has shared an update on the project today, reiterating recent reports about it featuring a "grounded story" with Multiversal elements. The site has also heard that, when it comes to Avengers: Secret Wars, it will likely become a two-parter and feature "more than one central antagonist."
It also sounds like the plan is to adapt elements from Jason Aaron's Avengers Assemble event. In that, Mephisto rewrites reality to rid himself of Earth-616's Avengers once and for all; the heroes pursue the villain through the Multiverse and even meet their 10,000 B.C. counterparts. It also involved a Multiversal Masters of Evil.

It seems like the Marvel Cinematic Universe is back on track with Deadpool & Wolverine. The hype for the film is ever so high, as the movie is set to make several changes in the official MCU timeline. One of them is the formal assimilation of mutants and finally bringing the X-Men home after years of waiting.
X-Men [Credit: 20th Century Studios]In Marvel comics, stories involving the X-Men and Avengers have often run parallel to each other. Hence why we often see these two groups teaming up and even having members from one team helping out the other. With the MCU already establishing the Avengers more than a decade ago, fans are left to wonder how they are going to bring the X-Men to the forefront now.
However, there might be a simple solution to that, which involves Kang the Conqueror and the Tva.
Where were the X-Men all this time?...

Stan Lee is known as the man who gave the comics industry some of its greatest heroes, like the Fantastic Four, The Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man and the X-Men. However, the comic creator is also quite famous for pulling pranks in the industry, especially on up-and-coming artists who he meets.

The comics creator’s cameos in the films that are based on Marvel characters were a highlight for many, which were all shot together to allow the aging creator some leeway. While he once used this opportunity to given Tom Holland an old-school ribbing about being cast as Spider-Man, the creator also got his pranking dukes up when meeting with the creator of Deadpool.

Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards), Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm) are confirmed as your next Fantastic Four. Avengers, re-assemble!
Variety has reported that Shawn Levy, reliable director of “Night at the Museum,” “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian,” and “Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb” is “in the mix” to helm the next “Avengers” superhero team-up for Marvel. In late July, his promised-to-be-potty-mouthed R-rated “Deadpool & Wolverine” will hit theaters and, clearly, Marvel’s leader, Kevin Feige, liked what he saw.
Marvel is in desperate need of a course correction after some wobbly entries like “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” “The Marvels,” and “Thor: Love and Thunder.” There was once a time when the Marvel opening logo was enough to print money and create cultural resonance, but those days have begun to wane, due in part to a glut of Disney+ streaming shows and the fact that “Avengers: Endgame” really did seem like a nice place to end the story. Doctor Victor Von Doom is the greatest supervillain Marvel has. Not just because of his rocking green cloak and metal armor look, either, but because of his persona. Doom is a man so grandly arrogant he thinks the world can only be saved if he rules it, yet so petty he lets a misplaced grudge against Reed Richards rule him.
Doom's vanity is so supreme he hides his scarred face behind a mask; not because he fears the judgment of others, but because he can't bear to see an imperfection when he gazes in the mirror. And yet, when he makes his grandiloquent declarations (always in the third person), it's not empty pomposity. Statements like "Doctor Doom does not fail!" delivered free of irony could be laughable, but instead Doom's willful personality convinces you.
Doom has been the villain of countless Marvel books; he famously doesn't limit himself to sparring with only his chief nemeses,...

The upcoming ‘Fantastic Four’ reboot has generated significant buzz as one of the most anticipated projects currently in development. This film aims to revitalize the previously lackluster ‘Fantastic Four’ franchise, which received mixed reviews in its earlier iterations.
However, the timing of the movie’s release is somewhat precarious. Marvel Studios faces scrutiny due to a series of underwhelming projects in recent years, leading to waning fan interest. Unfortunately, this trend has also resulted in Disney setting unflattering records as the biggest box-office loser of 2023.
Paul Walter Hauser, who has been cast in an undisclosed role for the upcoming Fantastic Four movie, recently shared his thoughts on the film’s development. He admitted that the past adaptations of Marvel’s First Family gave him pause before signing on. However, Hauser expressed confidence in the team assembled for this new iteration. The upcoming ‘The Fantastic Four’ reboot is one of the most talked about projects currently in development. The movie is supposed to reboot the older ‘Fantastic Four’ franchise which was met with mixed reviews at best.
The movie is also being released in quite an uncomfortable time when Marvel Studios is under scrutiny due to releasing several sub-par projects in the last few years. A cycle that led to fans generally losing interest, and Disney breaking unflattering records as the biggest box-office loser of 2023.

Actor/ director and comedian Jordan Peele has been the mastermind behind some of the most talked about horror movies, including Get Out, Us, and of course, Nope. However, his recent cinematic journey as a producer has not been quite as promising as Dev Patel’s very own Monkey Man, despite the hype, was far from making a splash at the box office.

Certainly, Peele deserves a break, and his recent meeting with Marvel Executives might just change his fate. With the recent report, fans might wonder what project Peele would pick up. While most fans almost believed that he would direct Mahershala Ali’s Blade, we think he might just land on a different exciting project, given Yann Demange is set to direct Blade (if Marvel Studios is still sticking with him).

Marvel had a rough year in 2023. Many of its properties underperformed, and they lost their big villain due to Jonathan Majors being fired. Looking forward to their upcoming slate, comic fans have been excited about some of the studio’s projects over the next few years. Will these films help Marvel regain control? The upcoming Thunderbolts film has been one that fanboys have been hoping to see since the MCU started. With some recent news about the property coming up, it seems like the right time to break down what we know about the production.
Who Are The Thunderbolts?
The team first appeared in Marvel Comics in 1997 in an issue of The Incredible Hulk. They seemed to be a new group of superheroes that had arrived on the scene and gained acclaim very quickly. The reader was informed that the group was actually a group of supervillains led by Baron Zemo.

Marvel’s The Fantastic Four has had a difficult time being adapted to say the least. First came a 1994 attempt which was only made so the rights could be held and can only be found on bootleg copies. Then came 2005’s Fantastic Four and its 2007 sequel, Rise of the Silver Surfer, with Fantastic Four arriving nearly a decade later. As it stands, these three have a combined Rotten Tomatoes score of 75%! So, yes, we’re still very hesitant to get our hopes up about next year’s go. And before Paul Walter Hauser was cast, he was just as nervous.
Hauser, whose role in The Fantastic Four has yet to be unveiled, almost turned down a chance to be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe solely because of the history of the property on the big screen. “Don’t think that didn’t weigh in as I was deciding whether or not to take the job.

Marvel's First Family hasn't had much luck on screen. There was the infamous 1994 Fantastic Four movie produced by the late Roger Corman which never officially saw the light of day and then the big budget 2005 and 2007 movies starring Chris Evans, Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd and Michael Chiklis.
Those weren't great and were a product of their time; so, when a reboot from Chronicle director Josh Trank rolled around in 2015, there was a fair bit of excitement among fans.
The trailers promised a body-horror tale but studio-mandated reshoots turned it into a mess.
The team has sat on the shelf ever since, though that will finally change next year with Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four. Filmmaker Matt Shakman has assembled an impressive A-List cast, including Black Bird and Cruella star Paul Walter Hauser.
Talking to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor admitted that those awful past efforts made him think twice about starring in this latest reboot.

There are a lot of things that need to be set up if Avengers: Secret Wars is to be accurately depicted in the MCU. While the Fantastic Four will be making an appearance in their own film, it seems the main antagonist of their story is going to be Galactus. Doctor Doom, another character that is intimately linked to the Fantastic Four, needs to make an appearance in the MCU to function as a villain in Secret Wars.
Doctor Doom | Marvel Comics
A Reddit theory has emerged that neatly solves this problem from the MCU, looking to introduce Doom as a multiversal threat already, and making the character an integral part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This would also work towards bringing the Fantastic Four into the MCU, should they be part of a different universe altogether.

Drawing comparisons to Blizzard's Overwatch, Marvel Rivals pits two teams of various Marvel Super Heroes and Super Villains against each other in various game modes on destructible maps from across the Marvel Multiverse.
In Marvel Rivals, players can look forward to choosing heroes split into three distinct roles based on their unique power inclinations: Vanguard, Duelist, and Strategist. After directing Thor: The Dark World, filmmaker Alan Taylor moved on to Terminator Genisys. Released in 2015, it's widely considered the worst movie in the sci-fi franchise's storied history. Meant to serve as a reboot, it introduced a new timeline created when Skynet attempted to kill Sarah Connors as a child.
In the movie's big twist, we learned that Skynet had transformed Jason Clarke's John Connor into a Terminator-hybrid. Joining him in the cast were Emilia Clarke as Sarah, Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese, and Arnold Schwarzenegger as a T-800 dubbed "Pops."
Despite being heavily featured in bizarre promo photos, House of the Dragon star Matt Smith made a relatively minor appearance as the advanced T-5000 Terminator who embodies Skynet, and it sounds like shooting his scenes was a bemusing experience for the British actor.

The list includes a bunch of names, but in our report, we have decided to list the first ten names from the site, as to provide you with a better insight, combined with our original comment and opinions which will add flavor to the whole report.

Brad Pitt and George Clooney are back together on film — outside of the “Ocean’s” cinematic universe.
The duo co-star in action-comedy movie “Wolfs,” which is written and directed by Jon Watts. In “Wolfs,” Clooney plays a professional fixer hired to cover up a high-profile crime. But when a second fixer (Pitt) shows up and the two “lone wolves” are forced to work together, they find their night spiraling out of control in ways that neither one of them expected. Just another night in the fixer industry, we imagine.
Amy Ryan, Austin Abrams, and Poorna Jagannathan co-star in “Wolfs.”
Both Clooney and Pitt produce the film, as do Watts, Grant Heslov, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, and Dianne McGunigle. Michael Beugg executive produces.
Watts is also making a Steven Spielberg-inspired “Star Wars” series for Disney+ that will star Jude Law. Watts was actually supposed to direct the “Fantastic Four” reboot,...

‘Thunderbolts*’ is one of several highly anticipated projects set for release in 2025. While it may not be generating as much buzz as the ‘Fantastic Four’ reboot or ‘Captain America: Brave New World,’ the rumors suggest it has the potential to launch an exciting new franchise.
This film will introduce a new team to the MCU, akin to DC’s Suicide Squad, and it seems their stories will follow similar patterns.
According to notable scooper and leaker Daniel Richtman, Yelena, US Agent, Ghost, and Taskmaster are sent by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine to eliminate a target in a vault. Upon realizing they have been set up to die on this mission, they unite to take down their boss.

Marvel’s upcoming Fantastic Four reboot has rightly generated hype considering the kind of updates that have come out thus far. While the characters were previously featured in the 20th Century Fox series, perhaps the most accurate depiction from the comics happened in 1994’s Fantastic Four: The Animated Series, as it featured multiple narratives taken straight from various traditional DC arcs.
The titular theory, which suggests that the upcoming movie might as well feature the same characters from the timeline seen in the animated offering makes sense on various fronts. Furthermore, it will also pave the way for the potential inclusion of the X-Men ‘97 characters in a future live-action movie.

There were many reasons why The Walt Disney Company merged with 21st Century Fox, with the rights to the Fantastic Four and X-Men franchises a small, yet crucial part of the $71.3 billion deal.
Marvel Studios will release The Fantastic Four reboot next year and recently found a writer for its take on the X-Men. While the quality of Fox's Marvel movies fell off a cliff with the likes of Dark Phoenix and The New Mutants, the studio also produced more than a few critical and commercial hits.
Fox had plenty of bold ideas for the Marvel characters it held the rights to before Marvel Studios pulled the plug on them. In this feature, we're revisiting the most intriguing, exciting, and sometimes awful-sounding projects which, in another timeline, you may have watched in a theater by now.

Back in 2013, five years prior to the release of ‘Infinity War,’ Patton Oswalt ad-libbed lines about the MCU. In the TV show ‘Parks and Recreation,’ Oswalt’s character, Garth Blundin, shares his Marvel/Star Wars crossover fan fiction to deter Leslie Knope from altering Pawnee’s laws.
Despite being entirely improvised in April 2013, Oswalt’s character accurately foreshadowed Thanos gathering the Infinity Stones to confront the Avengers in the MCU.
Recently, Oswalt made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! where he discussed his foresight in predicting certain events.
Some things weirdly came true; some on purpose, some by accident.(…) They had not done ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ . When I say Time Gem, they cut to Chris Pratt. This was way before he did ‘Guardians’ .Also, Amy has the funniest line in the whole thing when she says ‘the female part’s a little underwritten’, which was so exactly what those movies were.

On February 14, 2024, Pedro Pascal was confirmed to be playing Reed Richards in Marvel Studios' upcoming "Fantastic Four" movie (/Film broke this fantastic scoop early).
More recently, reporting has claimed that before Pascal was locked in, British actor Rahul Kohli was in the running to play Reed. Kohli had been a popular fancasting choice for Reed Richards -- much like John Krasinski, who ended up playing a Reed variant in "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness." /Film even named Kohli as one of the actors we'd prefer to see play Mister Fantastic more than Krasinski. But it's not true; Kohli was not in the running to play Mister Fantastic (at least outside fans' hearts and minds). The news sparked after a recent interview between Kohli and Salaam Nerds. During said interview, Kohli acknowledged the fancasts of him...

Breaking Bad and The Boys star Giancarlo Esposito recently revealed he's joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a mystery role. A few hours ago, a rumour cropped up claiming he'll star in a Disney+ TV series and the actor himself has now confirmed that is indeed the case.
"The MCU has knocked on my door and it's a role you won’t predict," Esposito told fans during a recent convention appearance. "It will be teased and there will be a series afterwards."
This appears to debunk theories he'll voice Norman Osborn in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man as there's nowhere for that villain to be teased before the animated series launches on the streamer either this year or next.
Interestingly, the fan who shared these updates adds that when someone mentioned to Esposito that he'd make an "excellent" Doctor Doom in The Fantastic Four, he mentioned "talking it into existence and making yourself believe in it.

There is little doubt that Marvel has seen a gross loss in quality in recent years, perhaps after the incessant success of Avengers: Endgame. However, things are certainly looking on the up, at least potentially, with a range of exciting projects set to be released in the coming time.
This, quite notably, includes the upcoming Fantastic Four movie, which has been allotted a release date of July 25, 2025, for the time being. Featuring a glut of stars such as Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, it seems as if another superstar of Indian origin, previously seen in CBS’s SuperGirl, Rahul Kohli, was also in the running for a major role.

The actor from iZombie and The Fall of the House of Usher recently revealed he was being considered for the role of Mister Fantastic, Reed Richards.
