- The final episode of "L'ottavo nano" begins with even Berlusconi attempting satire. Gasparri hides behind a chair, unsure if satire is allowed, but then presents the "Gasparri draft" on political communication rules in election campaigns. Vulvia, drunk from her New Year's in Bali, continues drinking from an 'mbuto. Her beloved Angela is at an amusement park, but she thinks he's in the Sahara Desert. Dr. Armà introduces Fulvio Tantarchilo, a new frontier of mannerism. Special guest Pino Daniele sings "Gente di frontiera" (People of the Frontier). Gabriele La Porta receives the news that his segment will be replaced by Gianni Baget Bozzo, who tries to kick him out. Vulvia makes a triumphant entrance in a huge funnel and is interviewed by the host; later, Angela joins her and they dance a slow dance together. As always, Venditti's anthem to the ring road concludes the show.
