In the movie, the characters are shown as drinking and eating from Al Manama Supermarket. In reality, Al Manama Supermarket only has branches in United Arab Emirates and India but not in Kuwait.
The school buses that were used to transport stranded Indians within Kuwait and from there to Jordan was in yellow color. In those days, the school buses were not required to be in yellow color and it became mandatory only after 2010.
In the scene where the school buses are pressed into service to transport the refugees, the make of the bus is shown to be Ashok Leyland and the model is Falcon. The logo shows the name of Ashok Leyland in a font that was created only in the late 2000s and the Falcon bus was first made in 2001. The movie set in 1990 could not have these.
