Eeyore : [floating under a bridge with Christopher watching him and smiling knowingly] Just my luck. A Heffalump, leering at his lunch.
Christopher Robin : [stops smiling and watches in horror as Eeyore flows farther down the river toward a small waterfall] Eeyore, I'm not a Heffalump!
Eeyore : Doesn't matter, anyway. Headed for the waterfall; I'll be gone soon.
Christopher Robin : Oh no, not the waterfall!
[rushing off the bridge, then along the riverbank to the waterfall, then hurriedly motioning for Eeyore to swim]
Christopher Robin : Swim!
Eeyore : Not that anyone will notice.
Christopher Robin : [continuing to motion to Eeyore] Swim, swim, swim!
Eeyore : [crashing into a rock in the river, but keeps floating] Just have to go with the - ow - flow.
Christopher Robin : Don't worry.
[continues rushing toward the waterfall as Eeyore approaches it]
Eeyore : I'm not. Can't change the inevitable.
Christopher Robin : [dropping his briefcase and taking his jacket off] You mustn't give up, Eeyore; I'll save you!
Eeyore : We'll see.
Christopher Robin : [holds his nose and jumps into the river as if to really swim underwater, then looks around and realizes he's in almost knee-deep water] Oh. Yes, of course I've grown up, haven't I?
[looks up with laughter, then rushes to scoop up Eeyore]
Christopher Robin : Oh, Eeyore!
Eeyore : [as Christopher wades back to the riverbank with him] Laughing at my misfortune, just like a Heffalump.
Christopher Robin : [as he plops Eeyore down] Hello, Eeyore!
Eeyore : Hello, Heffalump.
Christopher Robin : I'm not a Heffalump, I'm Christopher Robin. Do you remember I used to try to cheer you up?
Eeyore : I don't remember being cheery.

Winnie The Pooh : Well, we think about you every day.

Christopher Robin : Not this one, because it's a diseased cat. It's ferocious. It's a biter. I was about to take it in, give it some milk. You know, rehabilitate it.
Winnie the Pooh : [inside the coat, almost blowing Christopher's cover] You're squishing me.
Cecil Hungerford : What on earth?
Christopher Robin : [still worried of getting found out] Did you hear my voice there?
Cecil Hungerford : Yeah.
Christopher Robin : I do that funny voice,
[impersonates a puppet]
Christopher Robin : "You're squashing me... with your demands to play gin rummy."
[normal voice]
Christopher Robin : I was like a ventriloquist when I was younger.
Cecil Hungerford : Very good. Very good. We've got all weekend.
Christopher Robin : For?
Cecil Hungerford : Gin rummy. We should probably try and play cards tomorrow then.
Christopher Robin : I'd love that.
