When I took a chance on this, the IMDb rating was a 3.7, but from only 17 voters. Sometimes a sleeper fares more poorly than deserved from a small sample size of eyeballs on screens. Not this time. How can a 73-minute film seem so long? How can a script this minimal be so muddled? The nascent detectives who inherit an agency they don't want are played by women who are likely capable of much better performances than they're allowed to display here. Emotions all around are muted beyond reason - or entertainment thresholds. The few action scenes are mostly obscured by bad lighting and worse photography. I'd submit this to Webster's as a textbook illustration for the adjective "bland".

Promising start in what could be a good series.

Interesting start of two reluctant young young women getting dumped into a detective agency that belong to their grandfathers who met a questionable death. Great premise, good start to what could become even more of these. Have patience and give this a chance.
