Christmas Eve on Sesame Street (1978)
A Holiday Treat for Kids at Heart
Everyone has grown up with Sesame Street (at least I did) and this movie was one of my favorites, and still is. I was cleaning out for a garage sale and found the tape of this movie. I immediately went upstairs and popped it in, even though it was the middle of August, and I had flashbacks of watching this movie when I was 3 years old.
Of course it is hard to find now, probably out of print, but I still have my beat up old tape of this, that I now take good care of.
Yes, I am an adult now, and every Christmas season, I revist this movie to rekindle what it was like to be a child.
If you can find it, this is a movie for anyone who grew up watching Sesame Street, and a movie for the vulnerable kid inside us who still believes in magic, something we need in the world today.

Red Dragon (2002)
A Brilliant, Misunderstood Movie
People are not enjoying this movie. Why? Because they have seen this suspense concept butchered and "contaminated" in other Hollywood garbage that people do not see a TRULY great movie, even if it bites them in the face. This is a true suspense movie, with one of the best cast ensembles I've ever seen. As good as "Silence of the Lambs", and very better than the over-dramatic and gory "Hannibal".
A very entertaining movie; its a shame people do not see how good it is.

E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982)
An American Movie Treasure
When asked what I think the greatest movie of all time is, this one comes to mind. Along with Casablanca, Gone With the Wind, Psycho, Jaws, The Wizard Of Oz, and Schindler's List, E.T. deserves to be ranked as one of the top 10 of all time. It is just such a wonderful story, compared to all the garbage Hollywood has been putting out. Bravo to Steven Spielberg for creating a film that will be in the hearts and minds of everyone forever.
