When you have been waiting for several years for a movie to come true, the expectations are so high that it is so easy not to meet them and that you end up disappointed, it has happened to me many times. But Dune is not the occasion, on the contrary I feel that it did not meet my expectations but that the proposal offered by Denis Villeneuve is a better one, a very different approach from the one that in my mind had been created by anticipation and although in some way it has everything I wanted . I remember the first time I was introduced to the fantastic world created by Frank Herbert at the hands of Alejandro Jodorowsky in the documentary that recounts his odyssey to create this movie (which is why I never wanted to see David Lynch's version). Now that is what stands out the most of this film, although at the beginning I was impressed by the detail of its costumes and makeup, the cinematography little by little will take over the focus of attention, together with an excellent editing work and the disorientation compas of his music. A movie that if you had to define it in one Word it'll be elegance. Elegance that is appreciated in each of its technical aspects and that allow us to enter this fantastic new universe where we can appreciate shadows of our own reality. Ultimately it cannot be denied that this elegance is provided thanks to the perfect administration of Villeneuve in time, form and structure.

Excellent creation of mystery and suspense, M. Night Shyamalan knows how to create environments of discomfort and emotional despair. The formulation of the idea is incredible but its execution left much to be desired. I think that what happens after we discover what is really happening on the island was not necessary and the decrease in interest that as a spectator in those last 20 minutes is noticeable. I had a fantasy where the film ends after discovering that it was all an experiment perpetuated by the hotel management and the fact that the person watching over them was the film's director himself was the twist of irony he needed.

I did not watch the first movie, I did not even know that there was a new animated franchise of the Addams, but I have to be honest and say that I enjoyed it, the script is not outstanding but at least the story maintains coherence (something that is already a lot to say at present time), what I can highlight from this work is its animation in collaboration with the production design, there is a mixture of hyperealistic objects and 3D animation that caught my attention during its duration, something that I had previously noticed in "Soul" So in my opinion it's a decent job.

This film represents a reality in Latin American countries, where small elite groups manage politics and make decisions that affect many for their own benefits and economic interests, countries where a football game is promoted more than the importance of a good education, countries where few have all and most of the population nothing. Latin America has suffered since its conquest (NO DISCOVERY) in the 16th century and still continues to suffer new wounds while trying to heal the old ones. I have seen it and continue to see it in Honduras. Thank you for making this type of film, as well as "La Llorona" by Jayro Bustamante, cuz they allow these stories not to be lost as the intellectual authors of these crimes would like, they also help us to cure Latin America but do not forget. The technical aspect that I appreciated the most about the film was the black and white photography, really beautiful.

It seems to me that the approach on the subject was an excellent decision, the way the story shows you moments that could make us think in one way and then others that destabilize the ideas already formed. What I enjoyed the most was the direction! As at many times it was fierce, elegant, bold and captivating.

As I watched the movie, I remembered the stories my mom used to tell me as a child, I think Jordan Peel's intention was to give these legends and folklore stories a platform to be eternal. Like any Peel movie, Candyman did not disappoint, he knew how to impose fear, suspense, laughter and emotion at the precise moments. I can not say anything about the technical aspects, because they simply met the level of quality but without being outstanding in any of them but it met the most important point of a movie, to maintain the interest of the viewer throughout its duration.

I must say that I like the background of the film, but not its execution in terms of the script and the way it was constructed; I don't want to mention directing because I have a great appreciation for Stephen Chbosky from The Perks of Being a WildFlower (which he wrote and directed) so I would like to think that he didn't have much independence when making decisions. The movie feels strange, there are a lot of "emotional" moments that didn't really connect, good actors that didn't manage to shine (the best acting moment in my opinion was a Julian Moore scene) and in general at the end of the movie I don't could remove the feeling that the production "just wanted to finish it and close everything." The most positive and in my opinion the best thing about the film was the song that Sza performs (which is why I heard about the film for the first time) and which was co-written by Amandla Stenberg.

Here is the proof that the cinema does not need a large budget, expensive cameras, special effects or a "star" to be good, what it needs is to be real, showing us a reality that, even if it is not ours, allows us to enter that emotional journey of the characters, how many commercial movies could we say the same?. Thanks Sean Baker for showing us the power of a camera (cell phone by the way), of a good editing, flawless cinematography and the power of actors who, although they have no experience in acting, but the experience of life. Thank you for your humility, because the first time I watched this movie was for free on your YouTube channel in 2018 when I was doing my social service in the Moskitia and I was going through very bad times (what many would call bottoming out) between my emotional instability this film came to make me forget for 88 min of my problems, today that I see it again I remember those moments and I give thanks because in all honesty I can say that although I am not as good as I could be, I am not as bad as I used to be.

This movie feels out of date, this could be a story in another time, a time in which the world did not have current problems, I think that was what really bothered me about the whole movie, the fact that I could not connect or feel empathy for any character or for any of the events presented throughout the story, the "twists" of the script are painful. It feels like another version of 'News Of The World' but without the good cinematic moments that would enrich the film. The best in my opinion was the cinematography with that chocolatey color and the music for its subtlety, the rest was a disappointment, not because it was bad, but because there was nothing really relevant, when I see a movie I want it to make me see, feel, listen, think, cry, laugh ... something; but unfortunately I was more aware of how much time was left to finish it than of the same story, as a general rule it is never a good sign when one wonders while watching a movie "how long will it take to finish?".

Few things become as powerful as creating images from a poem, truly outstanding animation accompanied by this penetrating narration. I could even listen to an audio of this short and still be impressed by the power of his words. Thanks to UniFrance for giving me the opportunity to see such a work.

I have not been as good as I could be but I have not been as bad as I used to be, and that has been reflected in the fact that I have not been able to finish watching a movie for almost 2 months (all started with Annette), until now and I think it is because of the power of this film... it is the power of honesty, this is what this film has, if I could make a wish to the film production houses it would be more films like this and less fast and furious.

Interesting approach, what I liked the most was the revelation of sexuality until the middle of the film (honestly not a surprise because somewhere someone made a list of the best LGTB films and this was one of them). The film is plagued by scenes that become disconcerting and take the viewer out of his comfort zone, such as the kittens scene, really the most intense moment of the entire film in my opinion, it is very difficult to achieve so much richness in feelings in a single film.

There are bad movies and there are those movies that try by all means to be sentimental, "an emotional journey", personal growth. This falls into the second group, I do not think it is bad in itself, it is the set of decisions that made it like this, such as: too many scenes that really do not tell us anything about the story, reaching a point where one wonders "What is the story about?" That is what caused the terrible edition (it was saved as it could). Kevin's acting was not bad, I liked his performance throughout the movie but there were moments where he felt exaggerated (where he had to cry), not because the role, the scene or the moment did not ask for it, but because it did not fit with him, something more subtle would have been a better obtion. The best scenes were in which Kevin interacted with Viola Devis, have you ever seen an actress with such a good level of companionship that she is capable of lowering her performance level depending on what her partner is doing? I know that the director can do better, this is neither his best nor his worst work and something that I liked about the credits was realizing that Channing Tatum participated as executive producer.

I liked? No .. enjoy it? Yes. It seems strange but it is true, honestly I cannot value it as I would with any movie in the industry because it would only say bad things, this is the example of a movie where everything could be better but seeing what has been done with the second and third seasons of the series, this is a step in the right direction.

I did not expect much but I can honestly say that I enjoyed it, I do not have much to say about the technical aspects because I am trying to make use of the positivity of karma, what I can say is that this movie feels more special than its predecessor, this one has what Over The Moon lacks, there is feeling, emotion and the perception that it symbolizes something important to someone.

I think that without a doubt the best aspect is its the animation, I would have liked to see more winks to Miyasaki animation or a little more thought to the winks of Italian cinema but at the end it left me with a good taste, the taste of something that points towards originality.

Throughout the film I dedicated myself to looking for errors, things that could have been better, changes in the script or better ways of presenting the story with the editing, but I did not find any, I found a cinematographic work in all the extension of the word , mature, studied, thought and executed with masterful quality and elegance. My favorite aspects were undoubtedly the editing and mixing of the sound, without it you could not live the auditory journey that history proposes. Secondly, the editing seemed very successful, apparently simple but that is where its success lies because if we analyze the structuring that they achieved is very difficult. The music captivated me in 3 moments and sets me with the beat to which my heart raced. Of the rest it is clear that the special effects were good, the direction has captivating moments like I never thought that a shot of feet could say so much. And something that I must highlight is the success achieved with each moment of tension and fear, because the film manages to move between the genres of drama, horror and adventure flawlessly.

The truth is that it is a good film, I struggled a lot in my decision to see it, because superficially it is not the type of film that captures my attention but the reality was different. The story was good and original, the execution is almost impeccable, the script is very well structured, the jokes are at the necessary moment. I think it has the perfect balance of goofy comedy and science foundation.

I have not seen the Broadway show so there is no way of comparison, technically everything is fine without being outstanding but honestly this is the type of film in which that is not the most important thing, because ir has a heart and it comes to me in various ways, I felt, listened to, looked at and remembered the richness of our culture. The strength, the flavor, the rhythm and above all what characterizes our LATIN AMERICAN CULTURE to put our heart in everything we do.

When a film is well written and remains faithful to the basic feeling for which it was wanted to make, jobs like this are obtained. After watching the movie I finished with a smile on my face, sometimes a fairy tale story is necessary even if it is not about a white horse and it is not necessarily a true prince, but the magic is always there for those who know where to look.

When I started to see this film, I did not know that it was a documentary, nor that its theme was discrimination against transgender people, I found myself seeing a problem that I was unaware of, and it made me think about all that we still need to learn, understand and to improve as human beings. I would like films like this to be presented in public schools in all countries in order to educate the future of the world, because I consider that like all cinematographic work its objective should be to transmit something: an emotion, an idea or a problem and Changing The Game achieves it. At least I feel that I have grown as a person.

Since I looked at Eighth Grade I knew that Bo Burnham was special, with this project I can only thank the fact of knowing of its existence, because although it may seem a nonsense of actions, I think there is more than what can be seen with the naked eye. Best of all is the capacity for experimentation that he provides us, a timeline defined by emotion and therefore not inclusive for all viewers. My recommendation when seeing it is not to have expectations because in the end what we see is the interior of a mind. I hope it receives a Grammy nomination for Best Comedy Album because I really enjoyed each of the songs, a plastic music not very different from what it currently sounds in the radio but with lyrics that are a criticism of what we as a society consider "acceptable". My favorite moment was the one where Burnham made us a confession with 3 words "I'm not ok" all of us who have lived difficult moments with ourselves know that the most difficult thing is to be able to say it. Thank you for this show of courage.

I loved the second movie and this one is worth it just for watching the animated cartoon of Princess Melania.

I had heard that this was an excellent movie for the Saw franchise, but it was a disappointment. Childish and childish use of horror techniques, we all know that when the scene is not well achieved the best way to solve it is with the help of editing and this movie is full of cuts. In general I liked the murders but not the story as a whole. But for me the worst thing about the movie was the performance of Chris Rock, it was better in the moments when he didn't try, because seeing him make faces of resentment, hatred, anger is really deplorable and also how many scenes of Chris Rock screaming on slow camera to give "emotion" to the film are needed in 90 min? I counted 4.

I appreciate the persistence in keeping the focus on a single story and the final scene closes with the best possible feeling, for me it was feeling at peace.
