Five Nights at Freddy's (2023)
SO GOOD AND EVERYTHING ICONIC 10/10
Everything in here was iconic! Even William Afton's "I always come back!" quote!!! I went to see it with some friends and it was the most badass movie of the 21st century. We need to preserve this movie and make sure every generation sees this movie and to keep this movie and the game series alive. This movie really deserves more stars but all I have is 10 but please make sure this movie is preserved. It deserves too much and I love it myself. If the animatronics were real, I would be friends with them myself because of how wholesome they were to Abby.
Ps- I know some parents are gonna say how it was too scary for their kids cuz the theater I was in had a ton of little kids.
Clue (1985)
Absolutely amazing!!! Never let this film die
Everything about this is perfect, the acting, the comedy, everything! I grew up on this as a child and now as I'm in my teens, it brings me back and it still is just as amazing. I love how depending on where the movie was released, they all had a different ending and they're all unique. Mr Green has to my favorite because of his mild stupidity, when it shows the 2nd ending with Mrs peacock being the killer, Wadsworth says "You see, it's like the Mounties: "We always get our man!" And Mr green says: "MRS PEACOCK WAS A MAN?!" And proceeds to get slapped by Colonel Mustard and Wadsworth showing he is a little stupid but is a very good character. As Mr. Green always says " I DIDN'T DO IT!!!"
Hauru no ugoku shiro (2004)
Another masterpiece from Studio Ghibli
The film is perfect just like Ponyo, Spirited away, and all the other Studio Ghibli films I've watched. I love Calcifer and his iconic quote "May all your bacon burn!" My friends introduced Howls Moving Castle to me for my 13th birthday when I was at a sleepover at their house. They're twins and one of them was doing my makeup and it was a fun time watching! One of them as well also showed me Ponyo when I told them I saw Spirited Away and Kiki's Delivery Service. All of Studio Ghibli's movies are so exciting to watch and I cannot get enough of them! It's amazing and I hope they make more gems like these in the future.
The Pirate Fairy (2014)
Super awesome!! (Mild spoiler warning in review)
I love the plot and how the fact Tink and her friends swapped talents and it's honestly really funny how each of them try to cope with it, Rosetta is scared and even befriends a crocodile in the process. Vidia is her pessimistic self and I think she's mostly the hero from all her thinking and tinkering since she got Tinkerbell's talent when Zarina swapped their talents. It's also kinda cool how James was secretly Captain Hook and we didn't find out until the plot of the movie really reached its climax (highest and most exciting point of a plot in a book/film). Iridessa is also like me sometimes when it comes to anxiety and generally freaking out over everything.
Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast (2014)
Love love love!!
It's really good and my favorite part is each of the girls' outfits slightly changed versus their classic outfits (not counting Tinkerbell and Vidia) although it might be a bit too scary for little kids I'd say ages 5 and below, I'm in my teens, and I haven't seen any of these in forever! The movies are good in general and i would say this is one of my favorites, I love how Fawn is so caring about the beast even though Gruff is dangerous and part of some legend that potentially could've destroyed Pixie Hollow. I also love how determined Nyx is to do everything in her power to protect everyone and it shows true bravery and a will to save everyone.
Lightyear (2022)
So awesome!
My and my family were watching it and I loved the same sex couple showing how Disney truly supports the LGBTQ+ community and I love that! My mom was obsessed with the cat and was dying over the fact that Sox could shoot darts and can knock someone out for 5 minutes! I love Sox as well and i laughed over Sox as well. He's so funny and it feels amazing watching something based on a Disney Pixar Classic everyone still loves to this day. I also love how Chris Evans who played Captain America in the Avengers films voiced Buzz, it sounds so much like the original Buzz from Toy Story films. Definitely recommend for everyone including those in the LGBTQ+ community! Love the representation Disney!
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
A cinematic masterpiece
The camera angles on this make this a true masterpiece and make this all the more amazing! The clock tower shows up so much in the film showing the plot with Time Turners (which appeared later) is amazing since Hermione used it with Harry to go back in time to save Buckbeak and Sirius. The only thing that's bad about this, but it's only small. The fact that Harry is using magic outside of school seems weird since he isn't of age in the Wizarding World yet it's such a masterpiece and Alfonso (the director) should've gotten an Oscar for his filmmaking skills for the film. Also it does seem weird for Dumbledore, the smartest and most powerful wizard ever TOUCH RON'S BROKEN LEG! It's so unlike Dumbledore and I don't know why he had to do this as Ron reacted in a super painfully way and Dumbledore should've known it would hurt Ron and would make him cry out in pain.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001)
Amazing film
The first film is usually the perfect introduction to a film franchise and Harry Potter is the perfect example, the director (Chris Columbus), did an amazing job on the filming and he was amazing with the kids behind the scenes. To be honest because he did such a good job on the film he should've gotten an Oscar or some other movie award. It's amazing! The casting with Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint playing as the Golden Trio is also perfect! Also the fact that Chris Columbus wrote his own screenplay in order to make the film sound like the original book is also something that makes Chris the best director in the series.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)
There's a few things wrong with the film and other things
There are a ton of things that the film cut from the book such as the full Quidditch match at the World Cup, Ludo Bagman, and a few other things. Another thing that makes me have a little hate on the film was the director (Mike Newell), he complained about the book in every interview saying it's so thick and so long, I wouldn't want a director who complains about the book. He's great with the kids and everything but he originally planned for Harry to go into the Forbidden Forest during the first task and have the dragon burn it down after it got loose of its chains, even a 7 year old heck even a person with half a brain would know this is the worst idea ever since it's Rowling's favorite part of the Hogwarts grounds and there are too many magical creatures to count. Although it is a good film I'm not saying it's complete garbage but there are a few things that make it seem like the type of movie to have some more hate than the rest. Sorry if I sound too rude but this is all just my opinion and If you have a different opinion that mine, that's ok! Everyone's opinion is different and I don't have judgement.
Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers (2004)
Absolutely amazing!
I remember watching this once or twice when I was little and it was a great movie. Fast forward about at least a decade and I came across it on Disney+ and I was so happy so see it again, I watched it once and I felt a huge swarm of nostalgia just flow over me and it was just as good as I remembered. I love how it shows that you can dream of whatever you want to become as long as you work hard and believe in yourself, this really shows how Mickey, Donald and Goofy show how determined they are to become something they have always dreamed of and you don't have to become something everyone else is just to be like them, for example like how Mickey is short, Donald is easily scared, and Goofy is clumsy. It's ok to be those because nobody is perfect and it really shows that and I love that. All in all, amazing film and I hope it continues to be loved by all Disney fans for years to come. Now if only I could rate this a billion stars instead of 10.
