Elvis (2022)
Really Good
I'm not an Elvis fan but I have to say this was a very good movie. I don't know how true it all was but it was very good. The guy who plays Elvis was great and Tom Hanks was awesome as always. Worth watching........
Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
WELL.....
I love the Thor movie's but this was down right stupid. Thor seemed to be more of a comedian than a super hero. It was to many one-liners (jokes) that was so unnecessary. To much going on with this film. Less is More I always say...........
Rip in Time (2022)
Loved this
Its rare to find a decent love story where people aren't just jumping in bed with one another. This was sweet and truly lovely to watch. The story line was very good and the actors were good too.
Morbius (2022)
A Mess and Disappointing
The film is a mess and disappointing.
I wasn't a fan of both Venom films but they were better made than Morbius is. Venom and Morbius are Spiderman villains in the comic books. However, the studio wants to make these Spiderman villain into anti-heroes in their own movies teasing the fans hoping to see these characters interact with Spiderman or fight him in a later film. Morbius reminded me of the movie Wolf starring Jack Nicholson. That film was better than this one. Morbius was supposed to come out summer of 2020 and was moved as many times as Top Gun 2 was moved. And in that time period, the studio couldn't correct any mistakes with this film? I understand why fan feel mislead by the movie.
In all the trailers there are scenes involving mentions of Spiderman, Spiderverse, and MCU and those scenes are not in the actual film. Fans feel duped. I hate when studios use deleted scenes in trailers.
There are 2 bonus scenes in the middle of the end credits and those scenes show a connection to Spiderman, Spiderverse, and MCU. One of those scenes, the 2nd one has a flaw to it. It is possible that Dr. Strange 2 or another Marvel film could explain or correct the flaw in that 2nd end credit scene.
Jared Leto is very good in the film. That is the only positive about the film. The film is predictable. The special effects are horrible. The editing in the film is sloppy and choppy. The film needed a new director, a new editor, a new script, and new special effects team.
The 355 (2022)
I was expecting better
I was expecting better, considering the trailer for the film looks good. The film was disappointing. It is trying to be Charlies Angels meet Jason Bourne and fails at that. They are trying to create a new franchise and it doesn't work. They needed a better script and better director. The pacing is off. Some scenes are too slow. It is also predictable. Plus the trailer gave away a little too much.
On the positive, the action scenes are good. The cast is good, but deserves a better story than this.
Spencer (2021)
BORING
I was so bored with this movie that I was falling asleep. I didn't think Kristin Steward captured the true Diana Spencer. This movie will be terrible for her resume. I don't know, maybe being a royal is a boring way of life but if that's true then this movie sure captured that fact.
King Richard (2021)
Doesn't disappoint at all
I use to play tennis as a teen but I was never in to watching a match. The movie is great! Will Smith shines as the Father. Over all, all the actors were awesome. In real, the Father might have been pushy but the kids wanted to play as much as the Dad wanted greatness from his kids. Positive results, confidence, and kids who didn't get in trouble and stayed focused. Win Win all around. I love it when parents believe in their children and know they can be great!
The Way Down: God, Greed and the Cult of Gwen Shamblin (2021)
You reap what you sow
Interesting documentary. What I found interesting was that they said their church was bible based. NOT TRUE at all. The things Shamblin told those little kids were shameful and not at all from the bible. In fact, I didn't hear anything in this documentary pertaining to the bible at all. I'm from Nashville and I sure hope none of my friends are involved with this cult. Satan's biggest campaign is false religion and this is a big one.
Midnight Mass (2021)
VERY SLOW
This is so slow I'm about to fall asleep. I would think by the 4th episode I would get SOMETHING but NOTHING. I can't continue. Boring as hell.
Turner & Hooch (2021)
Love this show
I look forward to seeing this every week. Its funny, serious and refreshing to watch. The cast is awesome as well. Great story lines and you definitely fall in love with Hooch. Its great for the entire family and for animal lovers. :)
Mulan (2020)

Regardless of what anyone thinks...I loved this movie.
Dolittle (2020)
Very Charming
I don't get why some think this is an awful movie. I found it very charming. If you love Robert Downey Jr. and Animals..how can you go wrong. :)
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (2019)
WOW Loved it
If you loved the first one, you are surely going to love this one. I was a little worried that Maleficent: Mistress of Evil wouldn't be as good as the first movie and its just as good as the first one. -- Bravo!
All Rise (2019)
Classy with a warm human touch
I love this new show. Class act! A warm human touch that has to make tough decisions. Its also very positive. The acting is good too. Love everyone in this new series. I will watch every episode of this one.
Joker (2019)
Disappointing
I'm sure lots of people worked really hard on this film. I found it slow and boring to say the least. The acting was great but the story didn't hold my attention.
First Wives Club (2019)
Very Entertaining
These ladies totally got me hooked. My favorite show this year.
Leaving Neverland (2019)
WOW
Clearly a bunch of liar's who are after the mighty dollar. It's amazing what people will do or who they will hurt to make money. NO way do I believe Michael Jackson did any of that. These guys must be drinking the kool-aid. There other video's of these guys praising Jackson and how great he is. They wouldn't say that about someone who abused them. SMH Shame on you.
Aladdin (2019)
Charming and delightful
I wasn't expected to like this film because of Robin Williams not playing the Genie. However, I can say that I loved this movie and Will Smith did a wonderful job. All of the actors in this film were VERY good. I found myself smiling through-out the entire film. What a wonderful movie. :)
Brightburn (2019)
Missing major parts
This is an ok movie. I rate it a 4. There is NO back story on this kid. Who is he? Where is he from? Why is he evil? What planet is he from? Are there more kids coming to earth? Nothing! Seems the writer started off ok...fell asleep and then woke up to finish the end of the story. Very BAD.
Ms Fisher's Modern Murder Mysteries (2019)
I really enjoyed watching this. Only 4 episodes? I think I like it because of the time period and the very good acting. I'm not slapped in the face with nudity, language and bad morals which is a plus.
Captain Marvel (2019)
Disappointing
Loved the opening with Marvel and Stan Lee. Also I loved Stan Lee's cameo and the cat in the movie. That's it. The photography was horrible. The movie is basically dark 75% of the film. The story lacks substance. After the release of Wonder Woman and Aquaman...Captain Marvel didn't measure up.
The IMDb Show: "The IMDb Show" on Location: 'Alita: Battle Angel' (2019)
Was disappointed
As far as the visual to this film, it was awesome and special effects were great too. I liked all the actors but the story fell by the way side. The story was not interesting enough which left me bored at times in this movie. The ending was confusing as well. Is there Alita: Battle Angel 2? If there is a sequel planned for this movie the writers need to set up their game.
Noah (2014)
Doesn't tell the true story of Noah
The true story of Noah is so powerful, so compelling, that you don't need all the Hollywood nonsense to enhance this film. Unfortunately film director Darren Aronofsky completely missed this point and the result is a cinematic disaster.
Watching this movie left a chilling effect on me as I left the theaters. I was outraged, upset and simply mortified that a story of such epic proportions could be twisted around and retold in a way that leaves audiences completely void of the truth.
I shouldn't be surprised though, the film's director Darren Aronofsky is a self-proclaimed Atheist, and yet this man directed the film! But as I researched more to find out the truth I found his self-proclaimed goal was to make Noah the "least Biblical Biblical movie". Aronofsky seems to have done the impossible, he took a Biblical story and made it into a secular film that does not mention God once.
