Hotel Mumbai (2018)
Extraordinary Hotel Bombay!
Excellent from beginning to end. Great work of the director, the technical team and of course, the actors. ALL OF THEM are fantastic, and the movie keeps you aware of what happens at all times. Yes, it is violent and in some moments, difficult to see, but for those who are not clear, we are seeing the massacre made by terrorists. There must be violence, if someone did not want to see it, not to have entered the cinema to watch this movie. I recommend it 100%.
Robin Hood: The Rebellion (2018)
Entertaining version of Robin Hood
I knew the movie I was going to see, and that's why I enjoyed it more. It's a simple and direct plot (they kidnap Lady Marian) and they have to rescue her. I found very entertaining , and I saw a Robin Hood and Lady Marian fighting relentlessly from beginning to end. Of course we will not see the typical romantic image of Lady Marian. They all fight very hard for their lives, which I find more credible compared to the chivalrous image I've seen in other movies. And I loved the subtlety with which Green (Gareth David-Lloyd) fights in Robin's favor, considering his delicate situation, since he can not afford to endanger his family.
On the Basis of Sex (2018)
Inspirational & moving cinema
Beautiful film about the career and life of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, symbol of our time. A strong woman that never gave up. The cast is brilliant: Felicity Jones (perfect as Ruth Bader Ginsburg), Armie Hammer, as wonderful as Felicity like his loving husband. They have an unbelievable chemistry together in the film, and I can´t imagine another performers for the roles. The rest of the cast have great performances too: Kathy Bates, Sam Waterston, Justin Theroux, Cailee Spaeny... This is a necessary film in our days, and Ruth´s story inspire us. You have to see it.
Mirror Mirror (2012)
You have to see this film!
I was surprised by how agile and fun this movie is, especially after reading some critics. I think I'll leave the critics in mind when deciding to watch a movie. It has fantastic moments and the cast is in full swing. Julia Roberts, who I do not always like, is perfect as an Evil Queen. Lily Collins is a good Snow White. And Armie Hammer is hilarious as Prince Alcott; he has moments of true Prince Charming and others in which I laughed a lot with him. He is a very handsome prince with a very good comic v¡iew. Nathan Lane, Mare Winningham, Sean Bean (although it is almost a cameo of the actor) and especially the dwarves are fantastic. The final dance hits me a bit, but I think it's the lack of habit of listening to this kind of music, and it does not bother me at all. I recommend his vision, no doubt.
Call Me by Your Name (2017)
A Modern Classic
A Masterpiece with amazing performances of Armie Hammer and Timothy Chalamet. Chalamet was nominated to Oscar, but Armie deserved too. You have to see the film. The best film I´ve seen in years, and the best film of the year.
Un profil pour deux (2017)
Review
I love this movie. With an excellent script, nothing heavy and with a very agile rhythm. Very good actors (all of them). I find it very luminous, it is never boring. And I've laughed a lot. I came out with very good taste of the cinema. I really recommend this movie. French Cinema is really good, and this film is a good proof.
Warehouse 13: 3... 2... 1 (2011)
Review Warehouse 13.
Wonderful episode! And the best (for me) HG Wells and William Wolcott. Jamie Murray and Gareth David-Lloyd were fantastic together and they have real chemistry. They do a great couple and loved their work. And I'd see, I'm sure, a spin-off with this couple. Really good. I know the episode was done in 2011 and we're in 2015. But years later, i keep saying i would love can see William Wolcott and Helena Welles in their own show. They remind me a bit to John Steed and Emma Peel in "The Avengers" (another couple with a great chemistry). And they remind me too (of course) to Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson. Sometimes we can see years until we can see the spin-off of a show, so I hope we can see one day a spin-off with H.G. Wells and William Wolcott (by Jamie Murray and Gareth David-Lloyd).
