When it comes to movie to TV adaptations their always hit or miss. Most make that mistake of imitating the source, much like imitation flavored pop doesn't taste as good or not good at all. But there are those that are done right that stand on their own because their not trying to one up or imitate their source. They walk that fine balance of being true to the source but doing their own thing at the same time. Some of these shows even expand on the original story which adds more to it's mythos, from depth to story and characters to exploring certain places in that universe never explored. These are the shows in my book that make the movies just as entertaining on the small screen as they were on the big, but most importantly make the movies even bigger.
