The breakout star of the premiere of Succession’s final season is going under the hammer as part of a big sell-off of more than 230 props and costumes from the award-winning show.
The “ludicrously capacious” Burberry bag appeared on the arm of Bridget, Cousin Greg’s (Nicholas Braun) date to Logan Roy’s birthday party, something Tom Wambsgans (Matthew Macfadyen) called “an enormous faux pas.”
After terming the bag, unforgettably, “ludicrously capacious, Tom asked Greg, “What’s even in there, huh? Flat shoes for the subway? Her lunch pail? I mean, Greg, it’s monstrous. It’s gargantuan. You could take it camping. You could slide it across the floor after a bank job.” The exchange inspired dozens of memes when the episode aired in 2023.
Bids for the bag currently stand at $4,100 on the Heritage Auctions website, ahead of the items going under the hammer this Saturday.

On Monday, the Florida Republican party voted to remove Christian Ziegler as its chair following rape allegations that led to a police investigation.
The Florida GOP selected Evan Power as their new vice chairman. Power has the support of most Florida Republicans, including Gov. Ron DeSantis (R). No committeemen thought Ziegler should remain as chair.
Ziegler was accused of rape by a woman who previously said she planned to have a three-way sexual encounter with him and his wife, Bridget Ziegler, the founder of Moms for Liberty, a movement that looks to elect conservatives to school boards. Many have criticized the organizations’ positions as anti-lgbtq.
However, according to the accuser, Bridget was unable to attend and she backed out of the meeting. Christian arrived anyway and sexually assaulted her. Christian, who hasn’t been charged yet with any wrongdoing, has maintained his innocence.

Andy Cohen doesn’t want any drama with Ryan Seacrest this New Year’s Eve.
The Bravo personality is once again hosting CNN’s special from Times Square alongside Anderson Cooper.
At the top of each hour, the hosts are taking shots of alcohol to toast the new year; two years ago, Cohen and Cooper got noticeably tipsy, especially Cohen, who dissed Seacrest on the air as the latter was hosting ABC’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.
“If you look behind me, you’ll see Ryan Seacrest’s group of losers performing,” Cohen said on the December 2021 special. “I’m sorry, but if you’re watching ABC, you’re watching nothing.” Cohen later apologized on his SiriuxXM radio show.
But then last year, Seacrest claimed on Live With Kelly and Ryan that Cohen “did not turn around and wave” at Seacrest when the latter waved at...

A sex tape between Sarasota School Board member and co-founder of Moms for Liberty, Bridget Ziegler, and another woman has been recovered by the police.
According to the Florida Trident, the video is now being used as part of an ongoing investigation against Bridget’s husband, GOP politician Christian Ziegler, who has been charged with rape.
Following the allegations, he was suspended as the chairman of the Republican Party of Florida. Although he still holds the title, he no longer has authority and no longer gets paid his $120,000 salary.
In November, a search warrant was issued for Christian’s cell phone and Google account, which is how police were able to uncover the video and connect it to the alleged rape.
The woman in the video remains unidentified, and it is unclear whether she is the same woman that charged Christian for rape.
Detective Angela Cox from the Sarasota police has filed an affidavit.

Contains spoilers for Murder is Easy including the identity of the murderer.
A Christmas Christie is a treat and Murder is Easy scratches that itch very nicely. Telling the story of a rural village of two halves where people keep getting murdered while the police seemingly do nothing, this latest adap written by Sian Ejiwunmi-Le Berre makes some meaty changes to Christie’s original story. Most noticeably our hero, Luke Fitzwilliam (David Jonsson) is no longer a white policeman but a young Nigerian diplomat. After encountering a lady on a train (Penelope Wilton) who tells him about the deaths in the village and that they were carried out by a respectable person with a point to make, and who is subsequently killed herself, Fitzwilliam feels it’s his duty to find out what’s going on.

Aidan Maese-Czeropski, the staffer named by The Daily Caller and other news outlets, was employed in the office of Sen. Ben Cardin (D-Maryland).
In his statement on LinkedIn, Maese-Czeropski acknowledged, “This has been a difficult time for me, as I have been attacked for who I love to pursue a political agenda. While some of my actions in the past have shown poor judgment, I love my job and would never disrespect my workplace.”

The Season 2 finale of HBO’s sleeper hit comedy series “Somebody Somewhere” featured a wedding and a loving tribute to Ed, the beloved character played by late actor Mike Hagerty in Season 1.
The episode, titled “To Ed,” followed as most of the cast came together to celebrate Fred’s (Murray Hill) wedding at the old barn where Ed used to spend his time, now refurbished into a picturesque event space by Tricia (Mary Catherine Garrison) for the special occasion. In the midst of the festivities, Fred made a speech and called a toast to his dear friend — who was written out of the story earlier in the season following Hagerty’s death, by the announcement he’d gone on a long-term boat trip with his brother.
For series star Bridget Everett, the finale marked the touching end to a season-long celebration of the actor’s influence on the show.

As horror becomes more and more popular, venturing well into mainstream spaces, it’s easy to forget the genre’s underground network of films. They are far less polished, they feature no household name actors and, for the most part, they are deemed too unsavory for the general public. If that description hasn’t scared you off yet, then behold Bloody Bridget, Richard Elfman’s newest film.
Bloody Bridget concerns an ambitious but down-on-her-luck performance artist (Anastasia Elfman) who gets back at her abusers and then some. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity entails Bridget becoming a heart-eating and mythologically-brewed vampire after she meets Baron Samedi (Jean Charles), an lwa of Haitian Vodou from another realm. It’s not long before Bridget gets to take her new powers out for a test drive.
Along with the audience, Bridget finds immediate pleasure in hurting the usual suspects in her life. The chronically unfaithful boyfriend...

The “Evil Dead” franchise returns 10 years after the re-imagined “Evil Dead” of 2013, which holds the record for the most amount of fake blood used in a horror film. While it doesn’t seem like the new film went down the same path, although it is still very bloody, “Evil Dead Rise” is a family drama under all the blood and gore about staying in touch, not lying to, and cherishing your family. Yes, it’s an interesting premise for demonic possession that can’t be exorcised or destroyed. The Necronomicon has found new life and a new appearance in the latest “Evil Dead.” Let’s understand the lead characters of the new horror film and the final girls’ journey forward.
Spoilers Ahead
Ellie, The Mother
Ellie (Alyssa Sutherland) is the mother of three kids and recently separated from her husband. The three of them live in an apartment in LA.

If you’re a fan of the blood-soaked, horrifying, ruthless, gut-churning, every-second-of-the-way kind of films, then “Evil Dead Rise” should be your next theatrical watch. While there are quite a few issues with the film, including wardrobe choices and confusing accents, “Evil Dead Rise” is your latest horror film to just have pure fun with. To enjoy such a film with an engaged crowd is experience enough to recommend it. With the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis resurfacing due to an earthquake and the curiosity of a child, unspeakable evil is unleashed on an apartment building in LA this time around. Frankly, there isn’t much LA in this film, but either way, it’s a blast, and if we step aside from the fact that it is a part of the larger franchise and watch it as a stand-alone, it’s quite enjoyable but falls a little short in terms of a hooking plot.

When 2013's "Evil Dead" debuted, critics and horror fans weren't on the same page of "The Necronomicon." Some revolted against its addiction recovery storyline, offended that Fede Alvarez's film remade the zany Bruce Campbell-starring horror comedy franchise into something grisly and somber. Others thought the film's dark themes and its fresh blood unlocked a thrilling new dimension for the Deadites (and viewers) to explore. Of course, these opposing views revived the debate that has always haunted the franchise: What counts as an Evil Dead movie?
However, most failed to realize Alvarez wasn't rewriting anything within the world of Sam Raimi's demons. Given the era his film came out, when the aughts flooded the horror scene with remake after remake, it's understandable why many assumed "Evil Dead" fell into this bloated category. However, In 2018, Alvarez confirmed his film is a sequel,...

“Evil Dead” is one of the horror franchises that successfully stood the test of time even after being reworked into newer, modern installments and managed to gain cult classic status while doing so. Created by director Sam Raimi, the franchise has been regarded highly for its adherence to some of its defining traits like campy fun, signature camera work involving double focus and rushing tracking sequences and sudden zoom-ins, absolute no-nonsense spine-tingling gorefests, cabin in the woods settings, and the nastiest-looking demonic spirits with a penchant for blood and torture, all of which it introduced in the first movie “Evil Dead” in 1981 that revolutionized the horror genre of movies. The fifth and the latest installment of the franchise, “Evil Dead Rise,” directed by Lee Cronin, changes one key aspect by replacing the secluded cabin in a wilderness setting with a now-genre-popular urban apartment backdrop. But that takes away none of the trademark brutal,...

Bloody Disgusting’s Evil Dead Rise review is spoiler-free.
A lakeside cabin opening sequence in Evil Dead Rise, written and directed by Lee Cronin (The Hole in the Ground), operates as a declaration that the latest installment of this franchise will fit snugly within the world of Evil Dead while branching out into new terrain and ideas. That means a self-contained story that brings the gnarly gore and Deadite thrills, even when its lore isn’t quite as well defined as its visceral terror.

In horror, the greats are the greats for a reason, so it's always fun when new films that excite us call back to the incredible genre movies that came before them. With that in mind, it brings me such pleasure to inform you that there are totally a few "The Shining" references in the new "Evil Dead Rise" — and if the awesome reviews haven't made you want to see it yet, this will.
But before I walk you through what "Rise" has in store for eagle-eyed Kubrick fans, it's important to note that, interestingly enough, one of the references wasn't actually designed to be a reference at all. Cronin explained to Far Out Magazine in a recent interview, "There's an obvious 'Shining' reference, but it wasn't created to reference 'The Shining.' It was created for a plot function and a need, but then I was like, 'Wow, that's pretty 'Shining''.

This article contains massive spoilers for "Evil Dead Rise."As much as we humans love to champion our capacity for free will, life is inevitably made up of events that occur without our intent, and beyond our control. We can all attempt to make a plan for how our lives will go, but in the end, living is as much reacting as it is acting.
These seismic events that change the course of one's life don't necessarily have to be traumatic. For those in the "Evil Dead" universe, however, trauma is an unfortunately perennial thing. The latest installment of the franchise, "Evil Dead Rise," sees writer/director Lee Cronin soft-reboot the series yet again after 2013's "Evil Dead" and the 2015-18 TV series "Ash vs Evil Dead." This too is par for the course: one could argue that, despite numerous bits of connective tissue, every "Evil Dead" film contains a little continuity rebooting.

Lee Cronin’s Evil Dead Rise is its own diabolical concoction, mindful of its cinematic legacy yet happy to override the rules in any way it sees fit. It’s the fifth instalment in the long-running horror franchise but not really a sequel. Nor is it a fully-fledged reboot of Sam Raimi’s electric 1981 original. Though Fede Álvarez took largely the same approach in his efficient and brutal “re-imagining” from 2013, Cronin’s is the more daring film. Álvarez still tied his story to a cabin in the woods, five oblivious young adults and a dark cellar concealing ageless malice. Cronin borrows only a few familiar cues from Raimi’s original – some familiar chanting, the same insidious sound design, the favoured chainsaw of Bruce Campbell’s final boy, Ash – while relocating events to downtown Los Angeles.
