Real Housewives devotees are a lucky fandom because the Bravo franchise promises a limitless stream of meme-worthy moments with every new season. And if Andy Cohen has anything to say about it, then the unhinged chaos isn’t letting up any time soon.
Every year, there’s one city that takes the cake in entertainment value and last year the clear winner was inarguably Salt Lake City. During the finale, Heather Gay brought the women to the beach to reveal that fellow Housewife Monica Garcia was behind the Instagram account “Reality Von Tease,” dedicated to exposing former Housewife Jen Shah, and other Housewives, for the past three years. The big reveal, and their ensuing confrontation, is now considered one of the most masterly scenes in Bravoverse history.

If you thought the drama would be lighter on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 following Monica Garcia’s exit, you can think again.
A shocking new report about filming on the Bravo hit’s next chapter has emerged, and it sounds like the tensions between the cast members are at an all-time high.
The drama surrounds returning star Mary Cosby, who is heavily rumored to be reclaiming her snowflake after departing as a regular cast member following Rhoslc Season 2.
According to Page Six, the 51-year-old reportedly “called Lisa Barlow’s 12-year-old son, Henry, the R-word in a heated argument.”
An insider claimed that Cosby uttered the offensive remark during a blowout argument between the cast members, but her use of the word left the entire cast “beyond grossed out.”
A separate insider said Barlow was left “very upset” by the incident. Still, forgiveness seemed in the cards...

A hitman finds himself in the middle of an odd murder mystery in Shane Atkinson’s Laroy, Texas. Set against the beautiful Texas backdrop, the cinematography instantly reminds me of Ethan and Joel Coen’s No Country for Old Men. Atkinson does pay a little homage to the 2007 classic in his movie, as he brings sheer entertainment to the screen.
Spoilers Ahead
What Happens In The Movie?
Harry is a hitman who looks like a kind old fellow, and I’m sure if he has grandchildren, they will most probably love him. In the opening scenes, Harry kills a guy, yet his mannerisms seems like he’s the one whose life is in danger. Cracking halfwit jokes nervously and giving people a lift before killing them is actually a great persona for a killer. We skip to Ray, who’s clearly losing in life running his hardware store with his brother.

Monica Garcia revealed she is expecting her fifth child around three months after her Rhoslc exit was announced. Back in January 2024, it came out that she would not be returning after just one season. Now, she has big news to share that may make her Bravo-worthy again. Keep reading for more details.
Monica Garcia Expecting Baby After Rhoslc Exit
It was one crazy season for Monica Garcia. She came onto Rhoslc and did not make true friends with any of the women. Mary Cosby did like her some but she got into it with Lisa Barlow after Barlow’s $60K ring went missing in an airport bathroom. It looked like she believed that Monica may have taken it. Yet, fans could not get over how Barlow kept repeating the value of this ring. Then, she came to the reunion about why it meant so much to her, cost aside.

Despite being let go from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Monica Garcia is still on the minds of her former co-stars.
Recently, every interview you read with a cast member from the Bravo hit has to include sentiments about Garcia.
It makes sense because, when you think about it, would we even be talking about the show at this point without Garcia’s impact?
Lisa Barlow has spoken out about her nemesis a few times, opening up about her belief that icing her out was a good idea for the show.
Now, Barlow is opening up about red flags she had about her fired co-star long before she was cast on the show.
Barlow recently spoke with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast and recalled when the mother of four called her before filming and was “super nice.”

With Monica Garcia out of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, the cast is preparing to move on.
Lisa Barlow, who has been with the Bravo reality series since its 2020 premiere, is speaking out about the decision to part ways with her controversial co-star.
The self-proclaimed Queen of Sundance believes Bravo made the right call by not inviting Garcia back after news broke of her association with a social media account that bullied cast members.
In an interview with US Weekly, Barlow said these decisions were above her pay grade but was relieved because she felt she was building a relationship based on a lie.
Barlow cited “trust” as one of the factors in not being able to move forward with Garcia.
In the aftermath, Barlow feels it’s a good decision to move forward and wishes everyone well.

Exclusive: Matthew Vaughn reveals that last year he received what he terms “flattering” offers to sell Marv Films, the production company behind productions that include the Kick-Ass and Kingsman franchises and the Apple Original Films romance spy-thriller Argylle. That film is having its world premiere today in London, ahead of its February 2 U.S. theatrical release through Universal.
Marv is owned and controlled by Vaughn and Claudia Schiffer, his wife of 23 years. At the time, he says, “everyone was buying everything, and it was all very flattering and tempting.”
Vaughn admits he that nearly entered into a deal to sell, but his biggest mentor — whom he won’t name — cautioned him, saying, ”There’s no money in the world which would make it worthwhile for you having a boss.”
Vaughn shot back, “What do you mean?” And his friend went, ”Trust me, it will be a f*cking disaster.”

BAFTA-winning designer Sam Barlow has teased his next two games – one in the vein of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories and the other a “very cool” sci-fi horror.
British designer Sam Barlow keeps challenging the conventions of videogames with each project he makes. Known in the 2000s as the creative mind behind Silent Hill: Origins and Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, he later broke out as an indie developer with the terrific Her Story, Telling Lies and Immortality. Those all used live-action footage and cunning user interfaces to create some truly absorbing interactive thrillers; the latter rightly won a BAFTA for its narrative in 2023.
Since then, Barlow’s been quietly working on two follow-up titles, which have recently been given teasing entries on Steam. The first, currently dubbed Project C, doesn’t give away much – there are some atmospheric graphics of a woman’s eye and what appear to be red clouds or smoke,...

Monica Garcia will not be returning for Season 5 of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” after she was unmasked in the Jan. 2 season finale as an abusive troll who had anonymously attacked the members of the cast since March 2021. Garcia’s castmate Heather Gay, who’s been on the show since the beginning, had received the “Receipts! Proof! Timeline! Screenshots!” of Garcia’s deception on the final day of filming the show’s fourth season, during a trip to Bermuda.
In an exclusive interview for Variety’s Making a Scene, Gay says when she got the confirmation that Garcia was behind the burner Instagram account Reality Von Tease, she wasn’t even sure she’d even be allowed to bring it up on camera. “Social media has never been a part of storyline,” Gay says. “I didn’t even know if production was going to listen to me.

In the episode, Heather Gay learns that freshman cast member Monica Garcia is, in fact, behind an anonymous troll account — called Reality Von Tease — that’s tormented her and the rest of the cast since March 2021. In a flashforward in the premiere’s cold open, Gay got a mysterious phone call, during which producers scrambled into her room, and we heard her saying, “How could she do this to us? I’m freaking the fuck out!”

Perhaps it was when Jennifer Lawrence re-enacted a scene from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season four closer on the red carpet at the Golden Globes, calling the episode, “the best finale I have ever seen on reality TV.” Maybe it was when California Congressman Robert Garcia quoted Housewife Heather Gay’s diva-caliber finale soliloquy, “Receipts! Or maybe it was when dance videos began emerging on TikTok using Gay’s percussive delivery as both backbeat and creative inspiration.

Monica Garcia was always a different kind of Housewife.
Even before the events of the Jan. 2 finale of Season 4, the latest addition to “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” set herself apart from her new colleagues. Bravo’s biggest franchise is an ode to the nouveau riche and their tasteless McMansions, but Garcia wore her working class bona fides with pride. Her entry into the franchise was not as a “friend of” or peer to an existing cast member, but a former assistant — infamously, one of many — to Jen Shah, now a convicted felon serving time in federal prison. In her first episodes, Garcia openly discussed her struggles as a single mom and called out costar Lisa Barlow for her materialism. She wasn’t another tequila magnate with a $60,000 ring (Barlow) or a boutique owner bankrolling her son’s monogrammed sweatpants (Meredith Marks). She was a working person, just like you and me.

Dita Von Teese wants her followers to report the Reality Von Tease Instagram account

There’s something about Mary Cosby!
The outspoken church leader, who was an original cast member on “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” is back as a “friend” for Season 4, the just-released trailer reveals.
“Here I am,” Cosby declares as she enters her costar Meredith Marks’ boutique. “Somebody farted!” she later observes.
Cosby exited the show after not attending the Season 2 reunion. She had been criticized for making racist comments towards her then-costars Jen Shah (who is currently serving a 6.5 year prison sentence after pleading guilty to committing wire fraud) and Jennie Nguyen, which she later apologized for.
Cosby joins full-time and returning housewives Marks, Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay and Whitney Rose. Angie Katsanevas, who was a “friend” in Season 3, has been promoted to full-time status, and Monica Garcia joins the cast as the newest snowflake holder.
Newcomer Garcia reveals that like Gay, she was excommunicated from the Mormon Church.

The international film festival’s opening night on Tuesday began with the premiere of Depp’s upcoming movie, the French biographical drama Jeanne Du Barry, in which he stars as King Louis Xv. Following the screening, the film received a seven-minute-long standing ovation, which left the Oscar nominee fighting back tears as he waved to the applauding audience at the Grand Théâtre Lumière.

Brie Larson seemed to dodge questions surrounding this year’s Cannes Film Festival opening with the Johnny Depp-led film “Jeanne du Barry”.
The actress, who is a juror at the 2023 festival, mainly avoided answering whether or not she’ll be attending the world premiere of Depp’s new film — his first leading role in three years following his publicized legal battles with ex-wife Amber Heard. Last June, a U.S. jury found that Heard defamed Depp and awarded him $10 million in compensatory damages, followed by the case being settled in December. As a juror, Larson isn’t required to attend since the historical drama is not playing in competition.
“You’re asking me that?” the “Captain Marvel” star responded to the question during a jury press conference on Tuesday. “I’m sorry, I don’t understand the correlation or why me specifically.”

A new social media campaign with the hashtag #CannesYouNot is calling out the Cannes Film Festival for “celebrating abusers for 76 years.”
The campaign was launched online, days before the festival, by supporters of Amber Heard.
Her ex-husband Johnny Depp’s new film, “Jeanne du Barry,” will open the prestigious festival on Tuesday night when Cannes kicks off in the South of France.
Eve Barlow — a journalist, activist and close friend of Amber Heard’s — posted the hashtag across her social platforms. “Cannes seem proud of their history supporting rapists and abusers,” Barlow posted on social media with the French expression, “Plus ça change,” which roughly translates to, “The more things change, the more they stay the same.”
Along with her caption, Barlow posted a series of photos depicting accused men who have been prominent presences at Cannes over the years including Depp, Roman Polanski, Harvey Weinstein, Woody Allen, Gerard Depardieu and Luc Besson.

Lisa Barlow is crunching down on trollish accusations that she supports Donald Trump.
A Twitter troll recently posted a Photoshopped tweet which showed the “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star writing to her followers: “New York put your Maga hats on. Under our constitutional rights, we Will support President Trump and protest the tyrants.”
The message ended cryptically: “I’ll see you on Tuesday,” referencing when Trump is set to be brought to court for his criminal charges.

Jesus Revolution is the retelling of Pastor Greg Laurie‘s time in California during the 70s’ Jesus Movement. Joel Courtney plays Greg Laurie, Kelsey Grammer plays Chuck Smith and Anna Grace Barlow plays Kathy Laurie.
In an exclusive interview with uInterview, Courtney and Barlow reveal what it was like working with Grammer.
“I think every moment is a moment that you remember working with Kelsey,” Courtney began. “He is a legend like there are no two ways about it. Developer Half Mermaid’s Immortality is a lot of things: ambitious in scope, endlessly playable and eerily mysterious. The game has players sifting through live-action footage from three different films — plus the cast’s behind-the-scenes rehearsals and press junkets, among other surprises — on a playable version of an old Moviola editing bay. Each film is an erotic thriller from a different decade, and the lighting, tone and pace of each project carefully recreate details of each era of cinema. You’re essentially a time-traveling movie detective, with the ability to rewind or fast-forward and zero in on images to match cut to other sequences of footage.
The title, released on Steam in August, was also just released on Android and iOS phones via Netflix Games in mid-November, making it free for Netflix subscribers. It’s been nominated for a slew of end-of-year awards,...

Stephen King’s second published novel, ‘Salem’s Lot, arrived in hardcover in October 1975 and was King’s next step toward transforming himself from an obscure Maine writer to a pop culture phenomenon. His first novel, Carrie, had sold modestly in hardcover, but the paperback edition of the book took off, selling more than one million copies in its first year of release. Sales were also helped by Brian De Palma’s 1976 movie adaptation, which was not just a box office hit but yielded Academy Award nominations for stars Sissy Spacek and Piper Laurie.
And the paperback edition of ‘Salem’s Lot came out right around this time; it became King’s second bestseller in a row and cemented his status as a superstar horror writer. The book, at its core, also posed a simple yet alluring question: What if vampires invaded a small town in rural Maine in the 20th century?...

The cold open of the Sept. 28 Season 3 premiere of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” featured at the bottom of this post harks back to a more innocent time for the Bravo cast members — before it then reveals how their lives and friendships have exploded during the show’s run.
The scene begins in December 2019 with the first confessionals the women filmed for the show’s freshman season, as they introduce themselves, and present their relationships to other cast members. Jen Shah — who in July of this year pleaded guilty to criminal fraud charges, and will be sentenced (likely to prison) in November — attempts to explain her job, which she calls “direct response marketing.” As the audience now knows, Shah was in fact — as she’s now admitted — a high-up figure in a telemarketing scheme that defrauded tons of (often elderly) people. She was arrested during the filming of Season 2, practically on camera.

In an age where the number of likes, retweets and follows you get is more valuable currency than money itself, it’s no surprise that the horror genre has taken to incorporating things like influencer culture into their social commentary. That’s just what happens in Hannah Barlow and Kane Senes‘ darkly comedic satire Sissy, which follows social media influencer Sissy Cecilia as past traumas resurface during a bachelorette party weekend that turns murderous.
Sissy follows Cecilia and Emma, two teenage friends who were inseparable until Alex (Emily De Margheriti) arrived on the scene and bullied Cecilia, leading to a violent incident that forced the two to part ways. Twelve years later, Cecilia is a successful social media influencer with 200,000 followers living the dream of an independent, modern millennial woman. Nearly two months after it began, the legal feud between Netflix and the creators of the ‘Unofficial Bridgerton Musical‘ has been resolved. After accusing Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear of profiting off Bridgerton “without permission,” the distributor of the Regency romance has reached a settlement with the two songwriters.
Barlow and Bear’s response to the suit was due on September 22, but that retort never arrived. Instead, Netflix dropped the case a day later. In a brief notice, the streamer agreed to dismiss its legal action “with prejudice,” which means the lawsuit cannot be refiled in the future. Though the notice didn’t say why the case had been dismissed, Variety confirmed that the two parties were able to reach a settlement.

At 30, I tend to think I have experienced a great deal of what games have to offer. Not to place a cap on the medium’s potential or to say there’s a drought of quality titles, yet I often find I more or less know what I’m getting myself into before sitting down to play a new title.
And that’s fine. I still enjoy all manner of games across all genres, but a game these days rarely makes me reexamine the potential of storytelling in games.

A social media influencer unravels when she accidentally meets her childhood bully in this blackly comic horror, co-written and co-directed by Australian husband-and-wife filmmakers Hannah Barlow and Kane Senes. With a thematically rich, genre-savvy script, some delightfully nasty gore moments and a terrific central performance from Aisha Dee, this is one of the best horror movies of the year.
Sissy centres on Cecilia (Dee), who used to be called Sissy at school, where she was the target of bullying. Now in her early 20s, Cecilia has reinvented herself as a social media influencer, offering self-help advice and mental health tips. However, there are hints that Cecilia’s life isn’t quite as together as she likes to make out, at least if the off-camera state of her apartment is anything to go by.

Exclusive: For all the noise about David Zaslav’s quest to find 3 billion in cost-saving initiatives at the newly merged Warner Bros Discovery, what remains important to the new CEO is to spend on content where those dollars pay off.
And where is that? Why, on the launch of HBO’s near 200M Game of Thrones spinoff series, House of the Dragon, premiering this Sunday on both the linear pay-tv channel and streaming service HBO Max. Sources inform Deadline that HBO’s biggest marketing campaign ever is valued at over 100M in media spend (that’s a combo of ad spot value and hard cash shelled out). That’s a theatrical tentpole-sized marketing budget by all accounts, not some thrifty, Netflix-type push to subscribers on its menu. Since its debut on Netflix in December 2020, "Bridgerton" has taken the world by storm. Based on the bestselling book series by Julia Quinn, the acclaimed show broke records on the streaming giant by becoming the most-viewed series in its first 28 days, with over 627 million hours of viewing (breaking the show's own season on record). "Bridgerton" shows no signs of slowing down, either. Following a dramatic season two, Netflix renewed the Shondaland series for both a third and fourth season. Production for season three is already officially underway as of July 20.
"Bridgerton"'s sheer popularity has inspired countless social media offshoots, ranging from fan edits to TikTok videos and even musicals. While most fans have made their "Bridgerton"-focused content for their own fun and amusement, others, like musicians Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear, better known as Barlow & Bear, have taken their love of the series to a different level.

The curtain may be closing on TikTok's favorite musical.
Netflix, which has distributed two seasons of Shonda Rhimes' romance series Bridgerton, has filed a lawsuit against the creators of the 'Unofficial Bridgerton Musical' that went viral and won a Grammy Award earlier this year. The suit alleges that Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear borrowed the IP of the steamy Regency Era sensation and turned it into a live stage show despite "repeated objections" from the streamer.
Like so many other TikTok stars, Barlow and Bear rose to prominence during the pandemic, when they charmed audiences with captivating songs inspired by Bridgerton's characters and plot. Their tribute to the series was a viral hit, especially within TikTok's musical theater community. Millions of views later, Barlow and Bear completed a 15-song 'Unofficial Bridgerton Musical' album, which propelled them to victory in the Best Musical Theater Album category at the Grammys.

Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear are being sued by Netflix for staging “for-profit” performances of their Grammy-winning Unofficial Bridgerton Musical.
In a lawsuit filed on Friday to a D.C. District Court, the streamer alleges that the duo and their company Barlow & Bear have profited off of “valuable intellectual property from the Netflix original series Bridgerton” through a July 26 staged performance of the musical at the Kennedy Center and a future performance set for the Royal Albert Hall in London, as well as “their own line of Bridgerton-themed merchandise.”
“Bridgerton reflects the creative work and hard-earned success of hundreds of artists and Netflix employees,” the suit says. “Netflix owns the exclusive right to create Bridgerton songs, musicals, or any other derivative works based on Bridgerton. Barlow & Bear cannot take that right — made valuable by others’ hard work — for themselves, without permission. Yet that...

Netflix is cracking down on “The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical,” a popular fan-made musical based on the hit period romance. The streaming giant filed a suit against songwriters Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear in a U.S. district court in Washington D.C., where they recently mounted their for-profit stage musical based on the popular album.
“The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical” began as a viral TikTok project, with Barlow and Bear writing songs for an imaginary Broadway musical based on the show. They soon compiled those songs into “The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical Album,” which rose to the top of the iTunes charts and won a Grammy for Best Musical Theatre Album. More recently, they mounted the musical as a full stage production which reportedly uses dialogue lifted directly from the show.
As the project continued to pick up publicity over the past year, many wondered why Netflix didn’t intervene to stop it sooner.

More recently, they mounted the musical as a full stage production which reportedly uses dialogue lifted directly from the show.
As the project continued to pick up publicity over the past year, many wondered why Netflix didn’t intervene to stop it sooner.

Now this lawsuit is set to be the talk of the ton. Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear, creators of The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical, have been sued by Netflix for copyright and trademark infringement. The move comes just days after the pair hosted a live performance of the Grammy award-winning musical album at The Kennedy Center in New York City on July 26. "Defendants Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear and their companies ("Barlow & Bear") have taken valuable intellectual property from the Netflix original series Bridgerton to build an international brand for themselves," the lawsuit claims. "Netflix owns the exclusive right to...

The creators of the Grammy Award-winning "Unofficial Bridgeton Musical" are being sued by Netflix, as first reported by Deadline. Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear's hit musical began as a TikTok collaboration that turned the show's first-season storylines into a 15-song album full of romance and yearning. At first, Netflix was supportive, but after Barlow and Bear performed "The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical Album Live in Concert" at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC in late July, the streamer accused the songwriting duo of copyright infringement.
When Barlow and Bear's album was just a fan tribute on TikTok, Netflix tweeted about the musical from the company's official account. However, now that the songwriters are profiting from the music, the streamer alleges they're infringing on the company's rights to all things "Bridgerton."

Netflix is suing the songwriting team behind the unauthorized “Bridgerton” musical for infringement, court documents filed Friday in a Washington, DC US District Court revealed.
Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear created the homage to the smash hit Netflix show in 2021 with a series of music videos posted to TikTok. The record streamed more than 45 million times, hit No. 1 on iTunes US pop charts, and won a Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album in 2022.
Netflix initially supported the idea when it debuted as a free online tribute. The problem between them began on July 26, 2022, when Barlow and Bear staged what Netflix says is a “for-profit” performance of “The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical Album Live in Concert” for a sold-out crowd at the Kennedy Center, with tickets ranging up to 149 each.
According to the lawsuit, the live show featured over a dozen songs with verbatim dialogue from the series, along with “dramatic portrayals...

In March, the world was gifted with one of the best, most unhinged reality show rants in history — one that arguably usurps the infamous “Jersey Shore” letter that Snooki and Jenni wrote to Sam about Ronnie’s, um, infidelities at the club.
This rant wasn’t written out, however, but was caught loud and clear on a hot mic during the reunion episode of “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” Season 2, when Lisa Barlow went on an irate and expletive-laden tirade against her former friend Meredith Marks. Considering how many dumpster fires occurred throughout the season, it’s saying a lot that one of the most classic moments from the season came out of a 10-second remark during the reunion episode.
And just like so many meme-able moments that have come before it, fans are now printing it on everything they can think of to make a buck. Just one...

This film was originally reviewed out of SXSW 2022 under its previous title, “The Cow.”
In writer-director Eli Horowitz’s labyrinthine, mostly unpredictable thriller “Gone in the Night,” becoming increasingly risk-adverse is one clear symptom of getting older.
Part unlikely friendship tale and part potpourri of genre tropes orchestrated as a parade of red herrings, this debut feature takes on modern culture’s blatant disdain of aging and veneration of youth.
It begins with a common sequence: two people driving on an empty tree-lined road. They are, of course, heading toward an isolated destination in the middle of nowhere. Middle-aged hydroponics expert Kath (Winona Ryder) and her younger, man-child boyfriend Max (an amusingly annoying John Gallagher Jr.) have decided on an impromptu getaway to a rented forest abode as part of an ongoing dynamic in which he constantly dares her to be more adventurous.
