I had been looking forward to this movie for quite a while but i couldn't find it anywhere. Maybe i had just built it up too much but this movie sucks compared to Sam Peckenpah's Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid. This movie stars out with Paul Newman walking through the desert without a horse because it's dead and he runs into some cattle owners run by John Tunstall. Tunstall hires him even though he knows nothing about him. The sheriff in town and some other men don't want Tunstall coming into town so they go and wait for him, then they kill him. Newman wants revenge and after he kills two of them, Amnesty is declared. Newman meets Pat Garrett and they become friends. Martin Scorsese is a big fan of this movie but i just didn't get it.
