A classic and not a campy film for me
13 October 2003
Warning: Spoilers
I remember the movie when it was being released in the theaters and I was tooo young to see it but I caught it on cable a year later. I always liked Melissa Sue Anderson (from Little House on the Prairie days)and I was glad she was casted in this role as Virginia. It brought out all her tragedy in the film from losing her mother in that accident where her mother made sure she got out from being killed because of her bout of alcoholism to where you thought she could of been the one killing all her friends before her birthday reached then it turned out it was her best friend Anne who was responsible for all the killings. I myself thought it was Virginia till Virginia pulled off the mask and that was a thriller there and when Anne told her all the times that she tricked her as her best friend by looking like her, walked like her and even talked like her. Gosh they was suspense and kudos to Tracey Bregman who was so young at the time for her acting ability which is sometimes rare to find in actresses these days, where she still uses skills in her acting on "The Young and the Restless".
