This was Henry Fonda's last film. He made one TV film after this, but this was basically his swan song. And it's a goodie, too! This is a touching story about love and human relationships. Fonda has played in many action film, and has been both good and bad guy. In this, he is just an aging human being and he has one last chance to connect with his daughter (played by his daughter, Jane). Will he and she be able to do something they've never done before - actually LOVE each other? It's a great, triumphant film and one that is worth a watch. If this one doesn't crank up some emotion in you, you ain't human!
