This TV-series is a parody of one of the most important books of Italian literature, a work that every Italian boy and girl has studied in school. Manzoni's masterpiece was lifelike and full of historical details as much as this comedy series is non-sense and non-linear. Sometimes it may seem a little slow (television is changed in 10 years), but the characters, the jokes, the visual ideas are still very funny and innovative. Closing credits are stunning.
