Review of Amnèsia

Amnèsia (2002)
4/10
Salvatores stumbled across fans.
14 March 2002
I saw Amnèsia after the presentation of the cast, made by Salvatores himself: he briefly described a synthesis of the plot and the editing way that he had chosen for his new title.

There are two stories: the adorable Abatantuono, a father who's life is animated by the arrive of his teen daughter, Martina Stella, which brings the opportunity to know each other. Second story involves the nervous acting of Sergio Rubini with his lifestyle problems upset by a sudden discovery of a suit-case.

The plot is happily tedious.

The cinematography by Italo Petriccione it is so warm and involving, as always was in all Salvatores's movies shot nearby the seaside: one for all Mediterraneo.

I like Salvatores's movies, but this one is definitely a step backwards compared with Puerto Escondido, Mediterraneo.
