I read the book before I went to see this movie. I thoroughly enjoyed the book, and I expected the movie to be similar to the book. If you enjoyed the book, you may or may not enjoy the movie. The movie and the book have very few similarities, though both were entertaining in their own way. I liked the acting of Anne Hathaway, which made the movie as good as it was. The movie would not have been watchable without her (in my opinion). If you are not picky about the movie sticking to the book, you should enjoy the movie. If you have seen the movie, and not read the book, I highly recommend reading the book. If you are unsure about seeing this movie, wait to rent it. I rate this movie a 7 on a scale of 1 - 10.
