Committed (2005)
Committed = The Definition of Bad Comedy
8 January 2005
Warning: Spoilers
I have to say that I really found this show to be awful, absolutely awful. To be honest, I am a different type of comedy lover (eg. Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld, Arrested Development).

Jokes seemed very forced, and the laugh track just made it seem all the more poor. I also found the character of Marni to be infuriating. How is she an Occupation Therapist if she's this thick? It wasn't all bad. The character Bowie was decent, and Todd is the only character which brings some saving grace. By this I mean the only main characters. Clown also helps a lot, but the jokes are starting to grow a bit old by the end of the episode.

I just can't see this series lasting all that long. I always had a better opinion of NBC. I guess the only thing which can be hoped for is that it improves with age. No, I lie. Unless this show changes characters, the plot, and premise, it will fail.

Oh, and finally, don't get me started on the laugh track...
