I loved Julia Stiles in "Save the Last Dance" and think she's a great actress. This was a great movie. I would tend to call it a "chick flick" - perfect for a girls' night together or an alone time movie. It's funny, endearing and will bring tears to your eyes. May be it's his sweet and lovable character, but I fell in love with Alessandro Nivola during this movie, too. It's not a Hollywood "blockbuster", but I don't like many of the movies the critics rave about. All the actors and actresses in this movie did a great job of playing real people instead of these fake characters in most of today's movies. Don't pass this one up on pay-per-view or at the rental place!!
