Good Morning, Miss Bliss (1987–1989)
About Like Comparing Junior High to High School.
27 June 2005
Hayley Mills as a junior high teacher in Indiana with a wide range of would-be interesting students (Mark Paul Gosselaar, Dustin Diamond and Lark Voorhies most notably). Precursor to "Saved by the Bell" just never did get it right. Mills seems totally tired and out of place with the likable youngsters and principal Dennis Haskins was not a large enough focus here. Constant attempts by NBC to get the show going on the network failed and The Disney Channel (never a very good cable show producer) picked up the rights. Only 13 episodes were ever completed over a three-year period and none are really worth mentioning. As ho-hum as "Saved by the Bell" is, it looks like American television magic compared to "Good Morning, Miss Bliss". Turkey (0 stars out of 5).
