I didn't go into this movie expecting it to be intellectually stimulating. My suspicions were correct. However, this movie was actually some high quality fluff. It was funny and occasionally clever and gave my friends and me some funny quotes to use as inside jokes for a few days. Not every movie can be an Oscar winner, but if you're looking for a movie that's fun and you don't have to think to watch, this is the movie for you. This is the story of Haley Graham, a teenage girl who was at one time one of the best gymnasts in the world. She shocks her friends and enemies alike by walking out at the final round of Worlds. After an instance of property damage accompanied by her new biker/skateboarder friends, her father orders her sent to a new elite gym. She, typically, has an attitude problem that must be overcome by the hardnosed coach, played by Jeff Bridges with some surprising comedic ability. Wei Wei's "confused face" will keep you laughing as will Joanne's stupid moments. All in all, the laughs are worth the money spent at the theater.
