Review of Corky Romano

Corky Romano (2001)
7/10
Hilarious.

I had been reading some of the reviews over here and I actually wondered what is wrong about this movie. I mean, the outcast son of a mafia family going undercover for the FBI is just kind of hilarious. Corky Romano really lives up to his name.

He was actually this vet but then one day he was being summoned by his family that he has to be an undercover FBI agent (along with fake identity and all that) to destroy whatever evidence the FBI has on his father. But maybe whether is it a nasty coincidence or not, when Corky is now being part of the FBI, his first assignment is on his family's case. At times, his inconsistencies almost appeared in front of his fellow colleagues and it's really funny.

But end up, he became the hero in solving the case.

Now, comedies are actually meant for some laughs. Or else the purpose will never be there. I do like it actually when I saw it few days back here on the television.
