Incredible! (Spoilers ahead)

Warning: Spoilers
Spoilers ahead - be warned! Before this episode, I was determined to marry Zach Braff simply because of his performance in "Garden State". Now I learn that he can sing and dance! In my opinion, he's the perfect man.

The songs for this episode were written by the creators of my favorite Broadway musical "Avenue Q", which made me all the more excited to watch it. I admit that going into it I was nervous: I perform on stage myself and I know how hard it is to sing and dance in front of people. However, I soon forgot my worries from what I believe was the opening song: "Sacred Heart". It reminded me of the ending of the Avenue Q song "It Sucks to Be Me" where Princeton is welcomed to his new home, which was not at all a bad thing. JD and Turk's first duet about discovering the patient's problem by checking their stool was absolutely hilarious and the lyrics were questionable in true Avenue Q fashion. "Guy Love", their second duet, was incredible and I couldn't stop laughing.

The song played before the finale actually reminded me of "We Go Together" from Grease, which I think was the intention. And the finale truly was wonderful and, like all good musicals, almost heart-breaking.

The only one who looked like he was lipsynching was Dr. Cox; he just seemed a little bit late. Stephanie D'Abruzzo was absolutely perfect as the patient who could hear the singing and I loved that she was cast in that part (for those who don't know, she was Kate in the Original Broadway Cast of Avenue Q). The musical style was perfect for the wacky world of Sacret Heart and the actors showcased their hidden talents wonderfully. But don't think that just because I said that it was reminiscent of Avenue Q, it doesn't mean that it's not original. On the contrary! Even though the music is similar, the songs are completely different; and anyways, it was the mention of Avenue Q that really got me excited about this episode.

In short, it was amazing, and I totally want to see them do another one.
