This episode could not have been done much better! First of all, the entire concept was, while somewhat implausible, seemed well integrated. An aneurysm could cause strange echoing in hearing, causing the patient to hear "singing." Second, the songs were very well written! They were fun to sing (even the less silly ones) and worked well with the storyline. The actors had surprisingly good singing voices, and had obviously worked very hard towards this.
Finally, this episode retained everything essential to "Scrubs." An uplifting storyline and poignant message combined with hilarious moments and characters makes "Scrubs," and "My Musical" had all these elements. This show, like all other episodes of "Scrubs" that I have seen, surpassed expectations and left me feeling happy inside. I hope it did the same for all other viewers.
