Not much weight, but fun

If you're looking for some escapism and some romance, then this may be the movie for you.

"Electric Dreams" is a love story for the computer age, a light, simple film about a guy who finds true love thanks to modern technology. You see Miles (Lenny Von Dohlen) has decided to discover the world of artificial intelligence by buying a home computer, one that can control all the electronic devices in the home. However when Miles gets too adventurous and overloads the system, he burns out the hardware. Funnily enough the computer keeps working, developing a voice and mind of its own.

"Electric Dreams" can be a lot of fun, but only if you're after romance more than plot, and providing you can suspend disbelief for long enough. On doing this you'll enjoy yourself, and Georgio Moroder's nifty score will help things along nicely. Culture Club, Heaven 17 and Phil Oakey also feature on the music soundtrack.

Not too much weight to this, but its good fun.
