I still haven't gotten over Ted's breakup with Troy. I don't know what it was about that character exactly, but I really liked the two of them together. Despite their history, the two of them seemed to really connect. It was a welcome surprise to see Drew finally back, and Brian and Brandon's little contest was quite amusing. The writing in this series is just as powerful as ever when Justin's father turns out to be one of the supporters of Proposition 14. The best scene of the episode was probably the one between Brandon and Brian, in his bedroom after he won the contest. Brandon is all ready for Brian, but Brian turns him away. Brandon says that some day he will crush him. The words, dialogue, and acting were what make this episode quite a treasure.
