This movie confused me somewhat and I hope someone can answer a few questions. The Asian girl who he saw first that poured the tea was the Asian man's wife? I thought Herve was interested in her, yet when he went to that room, he was offered the hand of a different Asian woman. Then when Herve was back home and went to get the letter translated, there was yet another Asian woman. In the end, Helene was writing those letters and the Asian woman that read them looked like she was in love with Herve. It left me feeling nothing because I could not grasp what the heck was really happening. If someone can explain that I would appreciate it being I just purchased this movie. Thanks~
