The movie claims to be about ninjas. The title is Ninja Dragon. But the ninja part feels thrown in. The script is terrible. For half the film I couldn't understand much of what was going on.
It opens up to a card game with horribly dubbed over lines and they all lose to this one guy. They betray him or something and he plans to kill them because he's a ninja. But he's like 70 years old. So he goes out in this ninja outfit to kill them one by one.
Only that takes up like thirty minutes at the most. And is split up between like an hour of mob-based story that barely ties into this. If it ties in more than I realize then it's because the terrible dialog that the people speak! It's cheesy, the lines are badly dubbed, none of the characters are interesting.
Some big gangster dies apparently and now his daughter is taking over the business. She's protected by this guy called Dragon and they pretty much take down the other gang. Along the way her brother betrays her and she casts him out, the rival gang is for some reason connected to one of the guys the ninja is killing. And in the end she decides to do the cliché thing and marry Dragon. But none of this is truly interesting. It took me over twenty-four hours to finish this movie because I got so bored to move on! Fans of bad movies? Watch this. It's just plain terrible. And that's no understatement.
