A colorful series in the historical setting of turn-of-the-century China
4 June 2008
As a cat lover, I love this show. It's so cute with beautiful colors in the backgrounds, interesting characters, and great short stories that teach valuable lessons in the historical setting of turn-of-the-century China. I do love shows and movies that are set in Asia (China, Japan, and India too), like "The Last Samurai" starring Tom Cruise and set in Japan. And I also love Chinese films like "The Young Avengeress" from 1969.

Sagwa, her best friend Fu-Fu the funny bat, and Sagwa's younger sister Sheegwa are my favorite characters from the show. As for characters I hate, I hate Tai-Tai for being a social climber and the way she has her husband wrapped around her finger; I hate hen-peckers. So anyway, that is all I have to say about this cartoon series: that I really love it.
