8/10
This movie is 99 and 44/100 percent all about Marilyn
14 April 2009
Warning: Spoilers
This is the first porn movie I ever saw and the one I remember best, entirely because of Marilyn Chambers.

I became an instant fan and enjoyed her years later (1980) in INSATIABLE (especially the "Don't!", "Stop!"' "DON'T STOP!" scene on the pool table).

BTGD is remarkable only for Marilyn's sweet, wholesome, innocent, girl next door good looks. Seeing her ravished is what this flick is all about. She's reluctant about it all at first, then reserved, then, as the film progresses, unequivocally enthusiastic (she reportedly fainted during the extended scene with Johnny Keyes).

The rest of the film is junk. Forget the weird set-up, gross orgy, bizarre trapeze act and 10 minutes of psychedelic spewing (and especially the damn MIME). The hot n' sweaty Marilyn sex scenes are what makes BTGD worthwhile.

BTW, I was motivated this morning to write this review by the sad news that Marilyn has passed away.

RIP, Marilyn Chambers.
