I though this movie was decent. A good heart warming story but really over done. The four biggest let downs for me were:
1. i though that it would have more action, sword fights something! it was oh a sword threw her crown, carters dad pushes some guy down, and they run away. yep pretty boring.
2. since i live in Louisiana i had hopes of seeing some places I've been in this movie. As i watched this movie the more evident that it wasn't shot in Louisiana. ex: we don't have mountains in Louisiana, and that may palm trees, and u cant live that close to a swamp. Then my friend told me that it was shot in Puerto Rico. i was disappointed in that.
3.the movie was really predictable. oh a princess gets assassinated , goes to school like a normal kid, fits in better then the girl who has been there most of her life, has 2 be prom queen(in this case homecoming, which no one really cares about), wins, and the bad guy finds her. 4. i didn't think that Cane guy was that evil. i was like dude read the evil guy hand book! his character was pretty stupid.I'm the kinda girl who likes the villains more than the heroes most of the time.
i though the acting was decent but it lacked sparkle. and it kinda dragged on.i don't think Selena and demi work well together, it was kinda awkward to see them act together. i probably would never watch this movie again. And i had high hopes for this movie.
