A very highly predictable film with Tom Ewell again almost reprising his role in "The 7 Year Itch." Again, he is without his wife; although, this time it's more of a hilarious situation. When she thought he was going back to the air force reserves, she joined up only to find out that he hadn't passed the physical!
The film deals with the difficulties when he tries to live on base with her in Hawaii. I immediately kept thinking the only way for this to resolve itself would be for baby makes 3. You will realize this less than half-way through the film.
Sheree North, who was supposed to be another Marilyn Monroe, is in fine form in the film as the wife. Ewell seems to have this type of role down pat. If only you were able to not think of the ending right away!
