First of all, I am NOT German and I DO NOT speak the language, even though I do understand a few words of it here and there. Plus I don't know anything about the director or previous movies, TV skits or whatever, so these may be the reasons why I found this movie terribly unfunny. I laughed once. The story was OK for this type of comedy; you don't expect a great story, of course, just a few good laughs. The problem was the laughs didn't come either.
Bottom line: it is not worth to watch this if you don't speak the language and you don't know much about the director's previous works which this movie relates to. I do not recommend this movie to anyone, not even if you're just searching for a little fun with a few stupid jokes.
PS: there were quite a few jokes I did get, and they were just not funny at all.
