Dexter feels suffocated with the arguments of Debra and Lila in his apartment. Rita forbids Dexter to visit her children and her again. Dexter visits Lila that has trouble with the insurance company and finds multiple evidences of how the fire started in her loft. Agent Lundy believes that the Bay Harbor Butcher is in law enforcement and brings special agents to investigate the cases of the Miami Metro. Then he interviews Dexter about a case lost due to the lousy blood forensic report. Lila meets Dexter in the bowling and Dexter is assaulted by Santos Jimenez that tries to kill him. Kundy invites Debra to have dinner with him in his apartment. Doakes breaks in Dexter's apartment searching for evidence to incriminate him. Dexter sharpens his sense with his killing instinct and seeks out Santos; when he meets the killer of his mother, he discovers how the criminal has located him.

"Morning Comes" is one of the best episodes of this Second Season. This show is based on discoveries: Lundy, Debra and Angel find that the Bay Harbor Butcher definitely works in the police department; Dexter discover the hidden personality of Lila; and Doakes snoops Dexter's apartment and finds the blood samples hidden in the air conditioning apparatus. I am looking forward to see the sequel of this engaging episode. My vote is nine.
