Mortal Kombat: Conquest (1998–1999)
7/10
Could have been so great... if it was not of the ending...

Warning: Spoilers
OK spoilers ahead... but you already know that. Seriously when i first started to watch that series, i tough "damn its good", better fight than in the movies, plot overall was intriguing, and i had a tremendous fun watching it... until the end. Final 2 episodes(merch as one) where the dumbest idea ever. I saw series that end in a cliff hanger than got cancel, it can happen, but this way... never. We all know that Kung Lao died at the end of Goro as new champion of Shang Tsung at the next mortal kombat after he was defeated. So every fan of MK was expecting Kung Lao to died. Siro, Taja, they where amazing character, i liked them, but MK never speaked of them, so them dying was OK, as Vorpax...

But Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, Reptile, they where never meant to die.... and what was the crap with those shadow priest being able to kill anybody...

Seriously it felt like the show was great until those last episodes, like the writer where angry that they where cancel, when they could have just end it all with the next MK tournament... And proclaim Goro champion. We even see images of a Shokan in some scenes.

Im just so sad... i liked the first movie even tough it had flawed. The second tough as any MK fan would say was (story speaking) crap. This series could have been so much of a prequel to the first game. Well personally i will just do as the 2 last episodes never existed...
