4/10
seems a bit pointless and boring

Warning: Spoilers
I was expecting some heartfelt and poignant philosophical moral here, but it just never came to fruition.

'Leaves of Grass' is a story about two brothers who, despite being identical twins, live completely different lifestyles.

The rest of the plot is a real mess. I just don't see any reason to go on in the review because there's just not a whole lot here to talk about.

This is a slow-moving and pointless film. The only redeeming quality is the undeniable skill of Keri Russell, Edward Norton, and Susan Sarandon. Unfortunately, this film doesn't let any of them shine to their potential, and is nothing more than a scar on their careers. The film is completely void of humor, and relies on a uninteresting story with an open-ended, wry philosophical meaning that you will not figure out - nor will you want to. If the 'good' brother didn't care about his family because of what kind of people they are - then why should we? Definitely pass on this one.

As a low-budget, independent character study..... alright... but not worth any price of admission or rental.
