I REALLY REALLY thought he was innocent! I guess you can't tell about some people. Okay, this was interesting. When I was reading the credits and saw that Robert Vaughn was in this one as well, I thought "It's too soon! He was just in the last episode." But it worked out BEAUTIFULLY!!!
Robert Vaughn looked like a totally different person, and the character's personality was completely different so it worked very well! I honestly felt they were two entirely different people.
I think Sam forgot that he was the deputy marshal and was responsible for Ross. He should have never let Connie get close to that rifle! He was usually so careful, but I reckon he got comfortable after seeing their sincerity the night before.
