This film is plain awful. Whilst the first 30 minutes of the film are clichéd it remains watchable. However it soon descends into a bizarre revisionist Scotland or 'North Britain' almost entirely populated by the Seal People of the North, who appear to be a stunted monochrome Scottish sect of the N'avi. The cast do give good performances throughout although a number seem to be suffering from amnesia, a case in point being Bell's character who begins with a declaration of hatred for Tatum before ending up practically high-fiving him in the final scene. A ludicrous plot plagued with holes and an absolutely awful semi-montage on the way back to the wall in the final act only compound the woes of this terrible excuse for a film. Worst film of 2011? Just maybe...
