Think Big (1989)
5/10
Mediocre by objective standards, but amusing in an undemanding way

Warning: Spoilers
"If you think we are just two big dumb guys, you're wrong. We are two huge dumb guys!". Actually, bodybuilders David and Peter Paul have discovered the secret that made Arnold Schwarzenegger such a popular star: self-parody. They are not at all afraid to make fun of themselves. And they really come across more as overgrown kids rather than "dumb" adults: naive, restless, but unwaveringly good-hearted. "Think Big" is not a great comedy, or a great action movie, by any means, but it is very easy to watch, and it never bores you. The supporting cast holds considerable cult value (particularly Richard "Jaws" Kiel....still as gigantic as ever!), and Ari Meyers is lively and likable as the teenage genius heroine that the brothers find themselves protecting. ** out of 4.
