Rather forgettable
4 September 2011
Warning: Spoilers
*Spoiler/plot- 1955, Rather forgettable TV show of many episodes that include the plot workings of the inn and pub that Long John Silver lived at with the Hawkins family inn. This show involves many lightweight seafaring plots of the 18th century British shipping port.

*Special Stars- Robert Newton, Connie Gilchrist, Kit Taylor

*Theme- Pirates never change.

*Based on- Robert Louise Stevenson's famous pirate novel, Treasure Island.

*Trivia/location/goofs- 50's TV show filmed in Britain. This was one of Newton's last on screen acting rolls. He died in Beverly Hills at the young age of 50 in 1956.

*Emotion- A somewhat forgettable show with shallow plots except by those who watched it as children and are fond of this show. This TV show doomed and type cast Robert Newton into a less than stellar acting career in playing only pirates roles on that time period.
