A lot of stuff happens in this second episode of the slasher-themed Harper's Island. Where to start?
Well, we know from the previous episode that the lower torso of Uncle Harry (Harry Hamlin) was "cut away" after he falls through a hole in a bridge and becomes trapped, the killer underneath him getting knife-happy. Hunter and Daddy Wellington (Victor Webster and Richard Burgi) are discovered in a conversation by Trish (Katie Cassidy), much to their surprise (although, cool as a cucumber, Daddy comes up with a lie that tells her that Hunter is to leave, comfortingly telling her that the marriage will not be ruined).
There's an interruption as the volatile asshole Shane (Ben Cotton;the one who picked a fight with JD (Dean Chekvala) in the previous episode and seems to polarize everyone he comes in contact except Abby's (Elaine Cassidy) former boyfriend, Jimmy (CJ Thomason) whose been the pariah's friend since childhood) attempts to kill a deer Abby spots in the woods while jogging, spoiling his crossbow shot. Kelly Seaver (Anna Mae Routledge), the girl Shane and JD fought over in the previous episode, approaches Abby about their plight within Harper's Island, and it is revealed that Kelly's mother was also a victim of Wakefield (Kelly tells Abby she still sees Wakefield, not in a dream but for real). Kelly wants to go to LA, with Abby later saying she would take her—these best laid plans will not come to fruition, unfortunate for Kelly.
Henry (Christopher Gorham) finds a decapitated deer head in Trish's bathtub and believes Shane is the culprit. Invited guest, Lucy Daramour (Sarah Smyth) is searching for her spoiled dog, falling into a pit, the show closing with the Harper's Island serial killer dousing her with gasoline and setting her on fire! Just in case you think the killer might have his/her limits, the priest who is to marry Henry and Trish in his cathedral walks into a rope trap, and while hanging upside down gets his head lopped off!
Yep, it seems someone has broken into the Maritime museum and confiscated a missing hunting spade, putting it to good use. The best scene for my money has Shane and Jimmy walking back to their truck, after the Abby incident regarding the crossbow miss, finding a dead deer on top of the hood, its throat hacked open, blood on the windshield in bright red letters saying, "Psycho". Cut to a few minutes later, Henry enters bro's inn guest room to talk, JD cleaning blood off his hands.
Towards the end, within the woods, Hunter is shown looking quite menacing as if he is planning something sinister. For extra comedy, pushover British preppy Cal (Adam Campbell), walks into a rope trap, hanging upside down, left on accident by Henry's blond pal Sully (Matt Barr), who forgot about him, until girlfriend Chloe (Cameron Richardson) and a few others go to find him (Sully was hoping to score with Chloe, tricking Cal into changing teams during a scavenger hunt).

You just wonder when the death toll that is starting to mount will actually become noticeable (obviously, the missing people will start to garner curiosity by the wedding party). Like slasher films, there are a number of possible suspects (JD was seen with Kelly by Abby; Hunter is stalking about, refusing to leave and has every reason to keep the wedding from happening; Shane has a hair-trigger temper as evidenced by several instances where he causes others to really look at him with a stare of disdain), the most likely probably red herrings. The violence is totally PG-13 because of it being made for television.
