The Walking Dead is starting to fall into the typical mini-series/series trap: there has to be a villain in the group, there is an annoying person the audience wants to see fail, the storyline takes a turn for the worse. The Andrea character is long past her time to die. She is annoying and dreadful and not well written. Shane turning to the dark side is TV garbage. First off, he is now more of a danger to the community than the dead are--so it is time for Rick to walk up to him and blow his head clean off. In a series of dark times, the writers would be better off finding new ways to engage the audience rather than the formulatic writings that are repetitious of every single show on television.
