Well, i don't think i can tell much about the plot because it would give away the story. It's a film about a divorced writer in her mid-thirties who decides to visit her hometown and win back the heart of her high-school sweetheart who's actually married and recently also had a child. After that, the protagonist reveals some other, more different, traits. There is a hidden message but the film seems to be focusing mainly on the problem and merely on the solution.
The performances were good, both Patrick Wilson's and Charlize Theron's. I'm not sure yet about Patton Oswalt's presence. I like his humor but that's not one of his best characters.
Not enough music, would be just one observation. The atmosphere was proper and there were some nice scenes with pretty good photography. So i would say that it's an 'ok' film and that certain people might relate or like it. Dare to watch it. I did.
