"when you find me" hits close to home
31 August 2012
I will be the first to admit that I cried while watching this short film. This particular short film hit fairly close to home. When I was about the same age as little Lisle, my mother passed away. I also have an older sister. That's about where the similarities end when it comes to plot. But the tears never stopped flowing. I was an absolute mess when Aurora is screaming at Lisle about not getting to say goodbye to their mother. The entire interaction between Aurora and Lisle throughout the film deeply reflected how my own sister and I interact, even as children. The mature older sister, the immature, silly, rambunctious little sister who doesn't understand.

Definitely hits close to home.

Simply gave it a 9 because Lisle's animated dream was the most boring part of the film.
